What a treat to find this little treasure! The welcome wagon is a lovely dog named Abby and Chris the proprietor. Wow, an amazing assortment of antiques from crystal to oil paintings to vintage toys. The items are uniquely displayed so take your time going through the store. There is a tremendous amount of merchandise. I will definitely make this one of my regular stops. Chris obviously has a loyal customer base, she’s been in business for 16 years. Very easy to get to, on Old 41 just N of Bonita Beach Rd

Don’t let the outside fool you. Nothing really interesting on display, but inside is full of real antiques nearly organized and fairly easy to browse. The proprietor was very friendly as well. I would definitely come back here.

Great to find treasures. Quilts, toys, vintage games & dollhouses, records, more more more — it’s organized but cramped. Good music and sweet smell. Super great prices(12 wine/dessert fancy glasses for 25 $). Really a little sprinkling of everything with a bit of a magical hovel feel.

Being born and raised in Bucks County, PA and an avid antique lover and vintage/flea market lover… it was very hard to come to FL and see the lack of these types of places. Where was I going to buy my antique books and vases?! Well the Mother Load is the perfect spot! It is very tiny, I do not recommend bringing small children. The owner is very nice and she has a big old dog named Abby who naps on the floor and you have to step over her sometimes to move through the aisles. There is always new stock coming in, and the owner has let me haggle with her on prices which is nice. The store is also organized by sections… there is glassware, jewelry, children’s, American history, comics/action figures, Christmas, etc. and you need to look on ever shelf and corner because you never know what you may find! I’ve bought some beautiful gilded mirror trays, crystal decanters, rod iron plant tables for my lanai, old books(1800’s), lace doilies, etc. I highly suggest this store for anyone who loves vintage, antiques, or just a good bargain!
