Great service! I did a catering order and it came early and it was set up beautifully. I would definitely do it again.

I was in town for business and I have been to this restaurant three times already! This location specifically offered me excellent service. The staff members were extremely nice and happy to be there. The food was delicious and fresh. I tried the veggie burrito and queso. The hot sauce bar is the best and to die for. Loved my experience here each time!

What a surprise. Chicken soft tacos were very good, nice pieces of well spiced chicken with fresh accompaniments. Chicken quesadilla was great. Service was attentive and fast. We will be back.

Generally quiet, out of the way, but I love the food here. The sauce bar is the best and I love getting the quesadillas. You need to try their cookies, too!

Great spot for tacos. My wife and I paid a visit unknowingly on Taco Tuesday for lunch. Two oversize tacos, chips and a drink for less than $ 6. Great deal and tasty food. Order at the counter from the friendly folks and grab a table. Quite a selection of sauces on the back wall with only a handful possibly being lethal. I picked the most popular one that was sweet but not too much so and moderately warm. Our tacos were chock full of chicken, pork or beef(we picked a wide variety). They were freshly made and not overly messy. Two tacos was probably just a little too much for each of us but we pushed forward and managed to finished them off. I would probably skip the sour cream the next time I visit. I just had everything put on by default for this first go around. We will be back for lunch again the next time we are visiting.

They prices were reasonable. The service was great. They have vegan options which was great. The menus also list the calories which is nice.

3.5 stars This is a step or two above Taco Bell. It’s Tex-Mex and doesn’t try to convince you otherwise. In other words, no Mexican music and no Mexican hostess calling you Señor. It’s an American restaurant playing Bön Jovi and serving American-Mexican food. You order at the front and then the super helpful staff brings out the food/drinks to your table. When you leave they clean up after you. Not a bad setup, but it’s not fancy by any means. They have plenty of hot sauces to choose from in the back which I liked. The cookies are good! Cheap draft beer during happy hour. Definitely get a picture with the cardboard cut-out.

Let me just start out by saying I love the food at Tijuana flats, I eat here often and usually go to this location but after what I saw yesterday I think I will be going to a different store from now on. I went in for a late lunch and witnessed a manager and a few employee in the dining area where customers sit, having a meeting in which one girl was crying her eyes out. I don’t know what she did but I don’t think it deserved the whole restaurant watching her cry due to a manager words, it was very unprofessional. that should be done in an office behind closed doors not for your customers to see, I felt bad for this girl the managers didn’t seem to be phased by her emotions and it makes me rather go to another store with nicer people. Just shows how not genuine these employees are. Your food is great but the staff is not. guess I’ll be going to the Gulf Coast store from now on.

This place is awesome! Whenever I visit Florida, my family makes a pit stop at Tijuana Flats. It’s awesome quality for the cost. I also really like the Americanized version of Mexican food and this is it. They also have about 15 different sauces you can try! One thing I’d like to see in the future is a clearer menu. If the lady at the register didn’t ask me if i wanted cheese I wouldn’t have known to order it.

Quirky little place along similar lines as Chipotle, both in food philosophy and napkins. Not the best Tex-Mex but a good value. I ordered a two-taco special and they were much larger than the equivalent items at a much more popular«Mexican» chain and slightly more authentic. Hot-sauce lovers will enjoy the large selection, which ranges from sweet all the way to thermonuclear.

Man what isn’t there to say about this Mexican restaurant! This place is hands down better than any chain tex mex and Mexican restaurant out there. Doesn’t matter what you are looking for, here they will make it fresh, quickly, and with awesome service! Everything on the menu is highly customizable as well as delicious! Whether you want an awesome hand crafted burrito bursting with flavor, or a delicious taco meal, come here! This is one of Florida’s great Mexican places for whatever you’re craving! I personally love coming to this location for the everyday 2 taco meal with a drink and chips for $ 5! Unlike other locations this one has it everyday! Also if you’re a hot sauce fan, look no further as this place has over 15 sauces on hand in their sauce bar! All different types of flavors that make your meal even more one of a kind!

Food was pretty good. Nothing to rave about but I would go back for lunch. Great deals on a bucket of beer if wanting to share drinks with a group of friends.

In an area of sometimes overpriced and pretentious dining, this place is a little gem that provides great relief for the wallet and tastebuds. Solid Mexican food with flair at incredibly reasonable prices. Order at the counter, sit in the comfortable restaurant in front of multiple TVs or on the patio. Basic Mex menu, but better ingredients than similar places(Moe’s, Q doba). Hormone-free chicken, lite choices, FRESH jalepenos. Friendly service. Beer – good happy hour and always $ 10 buckets. Good food for $ 8 or less. That is quite welcome. Also, it is dog friendly outside. Note: this place is hard to find. Just southeast of Coconut and 41 in an office park.

The beef tacos were excellent, got 2 with lunch; they were so big 1 would have been plenty. Will definitely return soon. 2 tacos chips salza & drink for $ 4.99 the best. Tacos were so large they looked like little footballs.

Awful in so many ways. Smelled of old fryer oil. Cold tortillas in all orders that tasted like chemicals… mgr suggested after I sent back food not to order it… it’s not good… so why serve it I ask. Sat like a bomb up digested in us for hours… queasy at the thought of it. Mexican at its worst. All salsas either cloyingly sweet or acidic and over garlicky. Never again even if free Old Bonita springs has lots of great mom and pop Mexican that’s really good this isn’t one of them. Great job at cold beer tho… Bravo ya got something right

Disgusting. Only reason i gave it 2 stars is cause we had fun trying all of the salsas.

Hate to do this as I used to love this place, but have to be honest. I got the worst case of food poisoning that I have ever had from this place. Do not order any types of dressing. This place used to pump out some quality food, and I’m sure it still does. The only problem with«Fast» food, is that it can turn. If it’s not properly managed, you will be eating it, as I did. The owners are great people and I hope they do well. Just pitch the stuff before it gets served to the customers.

Genre for rating: Mexican Tough the menu is Americanized, and a bit simple, Tijuana Flats is one of my favorite places to go for a nice taco. They are huge, and filled with just about any topping you would want. The price for their dos tacos meal is even better. I’ve never been super impressed with anything else, and there are no real margaritas(bummer!). It kind of feels like a Mexican version of Jimmy Johns. Like a college town Mexican joint. The other part I love is the sauce bar. A huge sampling of different sauces, ranging in flavor and heat. I feel like if this place stepped up the quality of food a bit this could be one of the best Mexican chains there is. Now that I think about it, maybe it is… What I get: dos tacos with a dos Equis Best bet: when you are in the mood for quick Mexican food in a clean, quirky setting

This place is tucked away in a strip mall all by itself near the end of the Coconut Point developement. The entrance is across Tamiami Trail from the Pelican Colony. The food was good and came out quickly. All of the employees we encountered were happy to be there. The pricing is rather cheap for the area and the two tacos, chips, and a drink deal for $ 4.99 is a great value. Just get a side of their addictive queso and you are set! This place is perfect for a cheap, quick lunch or dinner when that hankerin’ for Mexican food comes along.

I can’t possibly give less than five stars to a place where I ate lunch four times in one week. I don’t know what it is about Tijuana Flats. I live in southern California, and it’s easy to find similar food there, yet whenever we plan a trip to visit family in this area, I spend weeks looking forward to my Tijuana Flats fix. Is it the perfect sweet tea? Is it the addictive queso? Is it the wimpy yet incredible«smack my sweet…»(hey, this is a family-friendly review) sauce that I put on everything, even the chips? Is it the awesome waitress who lovingly swaddled my bottle of sauce in layers of paper and plastic to give it the best chance of surviving the journey in my checked bag?(It did, and now has a place of honor in my fridge.) Is it the staff who constantly refill your drinks with a smile? Maybe it’s the fact that Tijuana Flats, by catering to both carnivorous and meatless cravings, is a ray of sunshine to poor starving vegetarians like myself. Maybe it’s the spinach and artichoke quesadilla – I never would have thought of that myself! Maybe it’s the«power lite» options that let me eat here four times in a week and not gain 20 pounds. Maybe it’s the variety – during that week, I never ate the same entrée twice. Maybe it’s the super reasonable prices. Whatever the reason, I love this place, and it’s earned the honor of being my 50th Unilocal review. Tijuana Flats, please, please, come to California.
