SD Poolworks

This company provided us with weekly chemical only pool service and in doing so our pool turned green with algae within four days after they supposedly treated the pool. The technicians do not need any experience for thier position (per their website) and obviously don’t receive ample training. We routinely tested the chemicals after they serviced our pool and compared it with other pool professionals who confirmed our suspicions that the pool was not being properly cared for. The technician left the locked gate wide open on several occasions when we have young children and pets. When we cancelled and made several attempts to reach the owner Sven and his wife (bookkeeper) they have ignored our billing inquiries and refuse to take responsibility. This company is horrible!

Found SD Poolworks through a friend of mine and decided to give them a call. I have had them for over a year now and I am totally happy with their service. Very affordable too. Never got around to leaving a review, but after my outstanding experience with them today, it had to be done.
Whenever we needed something or had any concerns, I would email Sven (owner) and he would respond within a few days, the latest, if not within the same day to help us.
Found water pooling around our pool equipment last night and sent Sven an email. He came early the next day since I told him our pool was green, went above and beyond along with the plumber (Leo from EBP) to help us find the best solution. In no time, our pool was clean, clear and blue again. Thanks Sven and staff!
(I think some may misunderstand and find them «rude» because Sven has a stern voice with an accent. But don’t be fooled, they are awesome!)

I found them to be rude and unprofessional… just my opinion
