Denny’s

Been there a few times, food has good. Hot, fast and pretty good service. Will be going back soon!

This place was extremely disgusting! My husband’s and my coffee cups still had lip stick on them from the previous customer. That’s just gross! The seating was disturbingly dirty. Such a horrible place. I would take the time to drive to Tacoma’s Denny’s then go here.

I agree with another poster. New place, very clean and Ben, our waiter, VERY attentive. Hubs loved his food, and the iced cappucino was delish!

Usually clean, wait staff are usually nice and friendly. The floors are super slippery in the wet. My biggest issue is that my husband and I have been going to Denny’s for years, including this location, and getting a hamburger with no bun with a side salad. Last night we were informed that they can’t do that anymore. We’re basically required to get fries or «dippable veggies». We don’t want either of those, we want a salad with our dinner. So, not going back to this Denny’s for sure.

It’s dennys… the food is OK not bad not great. What took this place down a notch for me was the temperature. It was freezing cold in the restaurant. To the point that my food was cold within 5 minutes of being put in front of me. I didn’t have time to even finish my food before it was cold. My 6 year old even said «mom my eggs are cold» after about 5 minutes and I know they weren’t put on the table that way because I could see steam coming from them. If they turned the heat up to just a little over 65 the place would have gotten another star but sitting in 50 degree restaurant was horrible

Best Denny’s my family and I have ever eaten at. The restaurant was very clean. Our food was fresh and delicious! Our server, Ben, was very attentive and efficient. A+! Will definitely come back to eat here again!

Good place to eat… clean, quick and friendly service, good food, good prices. Some very good vegetarian dishes for Lent too!

Service here really sucks. The manager seems to be more interested in talking with his staff. The food is 2^nd rate. Wilted, slimy lettuce. Prefer the South Hill Denny’s.

Denny’s has definitely spruced things up here. The store was modern looking and clean. The staff helped each other out, resulting in quick and efficient service. The food was good, well-​priced, and made quickly.

Came here just for a desserts with friends. Waitress barely listened to our order which I’m not surprised since when our food was served everything was wrong. Only saw our waitress when dropping off the desserts and never checked in again so we had to stick with our messed up order. Went to pay for our food and the cashier was trying to make us over pay and give more of a tip than what we left (which we left a nice tip on the table). Overall, horrible experience and the restaurant just felt dirty although is new. Avoid this one at all costs.

We went the other night and the service was still subpar. I did my best to keep a positive attitude after hearing all the horrid reviews. I can say our food was fine. My pancakes were a little overdone but who cares. We asked to have our drinks when our meal came and we had to remind our waitress. Then she came back at the end of our meal with our drinks. I was literally ready for a to go box. We got our check and went to the counter to pay. NOBODY was there to ring us up. People kept asking if we had been helped and we would say no. Everyone was running around yelling at one another. The waitress was mad at the server and so on and so on. Everyone just kept looking around like they had no idea what to do. We were standing there for 10 minutes just waiting to pay for our meal.

For starters, this was my first time visiting this new diner on a Friday night with my boyfriend. When we were seated it was in the back by the kitchen doors when the whole diner was completely empty. I could understand this because I’m a former waitress and you seat in sections so each waitress gets a table, but I was still irritated. The whole place was over staffed, we counted 7 people eating and at least 15 staff members walking around and coming in and out of the kitchen. Our waitress was rude, she asked my boyfriend what beverage he wanted but forgot to ask me what I wanted until after the meals came. We were done eating within 30 minutes and never once were approached by our waitress to ask if we needed anything more or how our meals tasted, which was irritating because of how many employees there were running around you think one of them would notice we were done and waiting for our bill? We finally walked up to the register to ask for our bill and out of the blue the waitress came along to thank us for coming in (but had not attended to us at all during our time there.) A weak attempt to show «good» customer service in my opinion.
Overall, this place was over-​staffed, the atmosphere was uncomfortable and not friendly or welcoming. Will not be coming back to this particular Denny’s again.
