Bellas Italian Restaurant

We were visiting Boone for the weekend and decided to try this place on Saturday night after reading the good reviews… Must say, we were thrilled with our decision… some of the BEST Italian food I’ve found in a while… portion sizes are huge and prices are reasonable… we fed a family of 4 with the tip for $ 40! We will definitely be back the next time we are in town and HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for good, classic Italian food!

You wouldn’t know by the exterior, but this is a pretty good food establishment. It has a limited pasta menu so we went with a pizza and Stromboli. They both were EXCELLENT! Very tasty! Service was also very attentive.

Our realtor recommended this great restaurant. The pizza was incredible and I’m very picky with pizza. I didn’t care for their red sauce and glad I chose a white pizza. My husband had lazagna with a side of sausage. It wasn’t bad but wasn’t great either. I think it was just the sauce. We arw Italian and make our own sauce, theirs was very dark and had more spices in it than we are used to. The server was exceptional and we love that. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. I’m giving it a 5 star because I think we are very picky with Italian food and I’m sure most would have loved the sauce. I do recommend the pizza!

My corned beef sandwich was delicious… good flavor and, thankfully, NOT smoldered in cheese. Excellent slaw side dish also. Warning though: open your sandwich BEFORE eating it to trim the fat off the meat. Otherwise delicious…

Although I was in town as a tourist, it was quickly evident that this was a favorite of local customers. There are two sides to their dining facilities, a softly lit room with booths and a brightly lit section with TVs and a bar where sat because that what was available. The food was tasty and there was a lot of it, a whole lot. I had veal parmigiana with spaghetti and marinara sauce. The veal was over breaded and not particularly memorable. My entrée came with soup or salad. I chose soup and received a generous portion of a mushroom soup with red peppers. The bread appeared to be dinner rolls drenched in that fake butter sauce restaurants love it use along with parmesan cheese. For $ 18 I expected higher quality food but all in all it did taste good. We had an excellent server. Our wait times were very reasonable.

I took a date there and we ordered some pizza. The waitress was really friendly and enthusiastic and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place.

Love, love, love this place! We were in Boone over the Thanksgiving holiday with 40 family memebers. Though most of them left the day after, the remaining of us had to eat somewhere! We were here back in Aug and found Bellas on google. All the reviews were great so we decided to go back. I called about 2hours before to make a reservation for 24 people. There was another big group coming around the same time we did but they made it work! They even brought the outside tables in so we could all sit as a family. The night we were there, there was a lady doing free face painting and of course all the kids were super excited! She did an awesome job! The servers even had their faces done, soo cute! Boone is a half way point for our family who is spread out through out the east coast. So we visit it about once a year. Highly recommend! BTW they have $ 2 slice of pizza all day every day and let me tell you, if you can eat two regular sized ones, then only go for one at Bellas. Bigg and delicious! Thanks again to the wonderful staff at Bellas!

Great food. Whether you get pizza, pasta or even the French Onion Soup, it’s all great! Can’t say enough good things about Bella’s.

Yes we called them instead of the Banner Elk location we intended to call but if they would have had the courtesy to answer «Bella’s of Boone» we might not have had to drive from Avery county all the way to Boone in the fog.

Excellent service and food. A hidden gem in Boone! Portion sizes are large so share with a friend or better yet, take home a box for later.

The food here is awesome. We have been here at least 20 times with almost perfect results each time. The spaghetti sauce is incredible, tasting like a homemade sauce. The portions are very generous.
The service is good. You never have an empty glass.
Try Bella’s, you won’t regret it.

My wife and I love Italian food and we were thrilled that Bellas opened in Boone after having eaten at the Banner Elk location. We both started with salads, the house salad being particularly fresh with a good variety of greens. The Eggplant Parmesan and Veal Parmesan were both excellent. The veal was perfectly cooked and tender, the sauce was delicious and the spaghetti was «al dente» as it should be, The portions were very generous and the service was cheery and efficient. We will be back again and again.

The bartender was nice and the food was good. They really need to raise their barstools though. I felt like I was at the kids table.

The food was great. The bread was delicious, but hard to chew. It didn’t stop me from trying though.
