So may superlatives: Our server made excellent suggestions recommending a cucumber and dil cream cheese to accompany my lox, tomato and onion bagel. She was very accommodating to my wife’s food allergy. When I asked for more hot water for me tea cup, she gave my an additional tea bag as well. That never happens. Our bill was surprisingly low. I eat here every time I come to Boone and wish there were something similar closer to home.

It’s ok. We went for breakfast. I ordered an omelet with home fries and bagel. The bagel tastes good but was dry. After walking around the area, seems there’s other places to check out instead

The bagels are great. They are cooked perfectly and come in many different flavors and cream cheese flavors. They come with plenty of cream cheese as well. Many different types of bagel sandwiches and breakfast items, the home fries are great! Staff are always friendly and helpful and the new location is great!

This review is actually 3.5 stars but we know Unilocal doesn’t allow that. ;) For my BFF’s 50th bday finale we went to Boone Bagelry for breakfast on a Sunday morning. There were 11 of us but they happily seated us. The tables were all different sizes but since they were accommodating we shifted ourselves and made it work. The HIGHLIGHT of the dining experience was Ashley, our waitress. Delightful, knowledgeable, friendly with adults and the kids and very quick on her feet. She gets 5 stars. The dining area was very nice. Very mountain-like with lots of wood a fireplace and minimal decorations. Clean and comfortable. Our food was 50⁄50. The home fries were perfect. Nice light seasoning, big chunks of potatoes and caramalized onions. My biscuit was on the chewy side but the gravy was exceptionally delicious and it was plentiful. My bad for getting a biscuit at a bagel shop. duh! Eggs were another story. The cook was off. My over medium egg was way overcooked, my BFFs over medium eggs were way undercooked, another person’s scrambled eggs ordered light and runny were very overcooked so those were fails everywhere. Three people ordered the bagelicious sandwich and other than the eggs being overcooked was delicious. Their bagels are awesome. The french toast was great but the pancakes were very dense and also overcooked not light and fluffy. The grits were typical and very acceptable for the two people who got them. The bacon was crispy and delicious. The ORANGEJUICEWASHANDSQUEEZED. That was enjoyed by the entire table. The coffee was average and they have herbal tea. So overall a fine experience. I’ve been a fan of the original location all through college and after for over 25 years. I do like the roominess and the better parking of the new location but I have to say their cook for today needs to turn down the heat on the grill and pay attention to the requests of the patrons on how they like their eggs. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling in the Boone area.

I go here several times a year with my daughter. It’s good food, and good service. Prices are reasonable and we’ve never left hungry!
