The food is usually good, however it is rarely delivered fast. I almost always have to pull out of the drive-​thru and wait for my order in the parking lot. Not exactly what you want when you’re in a hurry and order «fast» food. In fact I’m writing this review as I wait. It has been five minutes since I parked: still waiting… seven minutes and now I have my food.

Sure it’s fast food, but being from the north, it feels more special and unique than larger brands. Staff was very friendly and service was quick. The wings were ok but essentially just doused in red hot sauce which was too vinegary. The fries were excellent for fast food though. The burgers are also amazing, they know the secret of a good bun. Great stopping off point when travelling the BRP from Asheville up to VA. Also a good pit stop.

We stopped in here for a quick cheap list while trying to avoid Boone traffic. The service was fast, friendly, and pleasant for sure. Our food came out in no time and I was impressed with how they handed out number cards to keep the orders organized. It’s rare that you run into many Hardee’s these days, but it was a nice «treat.» If you’re in the mood for some fast food, definitely hit up this location.
