Quality Inn & Suites University

Normally my family and i stay at hilton hotels. We have 3 kids. My kids are getting too big to squeeze into a double bed type room. I am now having to book 2 rooms. For this reason, i decided to look at cheaper hotels. This is how i ended up here. 2 conjoined rooms for 4 beds all for under $ 100. Our rooms were very clean and updated. Plenty of water pressure. A/​C and the heater worked well. The complimentary breakfast was nice but lacked any meat products. A disappointment. The indoor pool was Fine for a quick 2 minute dip but too cold for anything more. The hotel doesnt have a gym. Bummer. Overall, very happy with our 2 day stay. I would stay here again.

A nice hotel.
Nice rooms. Clean. Very nice staff. OK free breakfast (they even had eggs) offered until 10:30am which was nice, later than most hotels we’ve stayed at.
I wish we would have brought our bathing suits because they have a heated indoor pool! Lesson learned.
Centrally located to Boone activities.
(We had no bug issues… as mentioned in another review. Although my cat did get scabies from hanging out with raccoons, but not at this hotel, not at a hotel at all Just sayin…)

I got scabies from my stay here. When I initially called the hotel to inform them what happened the girl at the desk talked to me like I was stupid and I asked her to pass my information along to a manager. When I didn’t hear back from anyone I called back 3 days later and spoke to the same girl. When I figured that wasn’t going to get me anywhere, I called corporate. I received a lot of apologies on the corporate/​headquarter side of things. When I filed my complaint I was told a manager would get back to me within 72 hours. That same day I received an email from the manager of the hotel and there wasn’t a single apology in it. The girl at the front desk and the manager were completely unapologetic. I’m mainly posting this review to reach out in case anyone else believes they have been infected from their stay here.
