The 2 stars are solely based on the fact that the bakery got back to me quickly with an online order. Having said that, I should have saved my money and made my own cupcakes. I’m not sure if the cupcakes I got were a week old or what. However, to say that they were dry and inedible would be an understatement. Fiercely disappointed as I’m from the area and try to support local businesses when I can.

Not very sanitary. A child was in there and she wiped his nose then went right back to helping customers. Yuck

Awesome baked goods(tried the peanut butter cookie) but the atmosphere is not inviting at all! Was a little disappointed they didn’t offer a few more healthier baked items(e.g. whole grain, etc.).

Ran in for a quick tea to go but the baked goods and soups looked great so we stuck around. glad we did. YUM!!! My son and I devoured the Maryland crab soup and the ham, beef and revel soup! Homemade blueberry cheesecake and an orange cupcake for my son were divine! Got some peanut butter Buckeyes and more soup to go. Slow service with only one very hardworking(and nice) guy working the front.

The G-Boone sandwich was very good. It’s the first time I had a pita toasted. I liked the crunch. Service was friendly and quick.

Not impressed. I’ve been here three times and I won’t be coming back. The pasta salad is how people describe it. The sandwiches are overpriced. Service is friendly and nice. Asparagus crab soup is weak on the crab and chunky with other veggies, which is just weird.

Their food is good. We tried the crab cake burger and the grilled chicken with bell peppers really good. And BTW I tried to order a cake. They do NOT take cake orders at the Boonsboro location?! They gave me the Number for Hagerstown called got an answer(finally) This morning no one there to take my cake order till Monday?! Ok you just lost my business as far as cakes are concerned.

It makes me sad to provide this review. Used to be one of my favorite places to eat. Apparently, customer service does not come first. I have tried twice in the past two weeks to place phone orders. Staff is rude, put me on hold(which means putting the phone down) for more than 10 minutes — could hear the employees arguing. Finally hung up and the phone was off the hook for another 30 minutes. Guess they forgot about that customer. Gave them a chance again when they put the phone back on the hook and ended up with a hair in my food. I’m done! Too many other places to spend my money!

This place has such potential. They have one type of «specialty coffee» that is just iced coffee. First off, I’m not even sure there was coffee in it… it tasted like I was drinking old crusty sugar packets mixed with milk. It was the most repulsive thing I’ve ever had. The pastries taste like they were popped out of a freezer into a microwave,(the ones that aren’t out in the front) and there’s nothing special about the sandwiches, except for how extreme the prices are. If they got some fresh food in there, and better coffee choices, this place could be ideal.

It pains me to have to update my review for Kristi’s in Boonsboro… but sad as it is I personally feel the quality, environment & service has gone down hill. It’s the little things that you notice here… stressed, poorly trained & rude wait-staff, inconsistency in the food, trying to add too many different items to the menu(a new ice cream counter in an already crowded bakery/café?), squeezing too many tables into a small room… and just the over all lack of neatness and cleanliness in the dining area. As a local frequent lunchtime diner, I’m really disappointed. It makes you feel as if the owners are spreading themselves too thin rather than focusing on what they are good at. I’ve X-ed Kristi’s off of my lunch options… I won’t be back.

Stopped by for coffee which turned out to be strangely weak and flavorless.(Sunday Morning 10-ish.)

Went here for dinner on a triathlon weekend with friends. Service was okay. Food okay, certainly not a 5 star experience. Got the penne with veggies and a salad. Ordered a side of pasta salad which tasted like cooked pasta with zero flavor or spice. When I told the server after dinner, her response was«I’m really surprised.» No apology or offer to comp or throw in something for free. Completely unimpressed. I won’t be back.

Great spot in Boonsboro for a meal or snack! Menu does not mention availability of gluten-free bread for sandwiches, but the friendly woman behind the counter mentioned it. I’d already eaten lunch, so while my friend enjoyed a delicious sandwich(albeit a tad pricey), I cooled off with an iced mocha — it was reasonably priced, although a bit too chocolate-y for me. Also tried the potato candy, which was good but incredibly sweet.

Kristi’s has a large selection of sandwiches and soups. We tried two sandwiches which were both huge and delicious. All the staff was very friendly and helpful.

If ever you are on your way to Antietam, Harper’s Ferry, or are just taking back roads from Frederick to Hagerstown, you should stop by here. My wife and I moved to Boonsboro a year ago. We make sure to go out out of our way once a week to satisfy our cravings for sweets. They sweets are always fresh. Some of my favorites include Brookies(a brownie/cookie mix), potato candy, and their blueberry scones. The rest of menu offers a great variety of soups and sandwiches from breakfast to lunch meals. In all of the time I have visited this location, I have never had bad service. Sure, it can be a bit crowded at times, but that is to be expected on a busy day in a small town. Do yourself a favor and stop in.

What a find! My wife and I just discovered this the other day when attending the Green Day Festival in Boonsboro. We walked in to check it out(she had heard great things about it) and we were blown away by the staff’s friendliness, the variety of soups, sandwiches, and baked goods at extremely reasonable prices. When I asked about the crab soup, the chef went back to the kitchen and brought back out for me to try a cup of their crab and artichoke bisque. I hadn’t even bought anything and had never been in there before! Anyway, it turned out to be some of the best soup I’ve ever had and we wound up buying a quart of it.(It did not last 36 hours.) Can’t wait to go back!

I have been so impressed with the quality of food at Kristi’s. We’ve gone for lunch a few times and every sandwich we’ve ordered has been delicious! The staff are super friendly and the desserts are tasty. Great local spot!

Really good sandwiches! It does get a little crowded during lunch time though. They need to expand!

Lovely Weekend lunch date for our first visit. Parking was easy to find. Crab bisque, cream of potato & asparagus soup, and sandwiches were delicious. Meals were filling and hearty. Coffee is awesome! Will return again soon.
