Golden Garden

I only order from Golden Garden. The food is delish, staff is great and prepared expediently! I work in Boonton and live in Boonton Twp, this is my go to Chinese food place!

I live nearby, and tried them once. Ordered basic chicken and broccoli. How do you mess that up? Simply, the chicken was old, grayish looking. I threw it out.

This is the best Chinese food in the area, The food is fresh and they customize to your liking

Golden Garden deserves 1 to 1.5 stars for their food and 4 or 5 or their fast, friendly service. I give them an average of 2 because the food quality varies greatly, not only from dish to dish, but with the same dish. On the other hand, prices are reasonable, the portions are huge, and the staff is always eager to please.
We only get delivery from GG. I have never eaten in the restaurant itself, which looks pretty basic and appears clean. They are prompt and courteous on the phone as well as when they bring the food to your door. The food itself is just OK. It may even a bit on the not so good but edible side, depending on what you order. To be fair, we are spoiled when it comes to Chinese food. We dine regularly at a superb, highly rate sit down Chinese restaurant in Denville that is fancy as far as Chinese restaurants go. Their food is excellent, some of the very best Chinese we’ve ever had, but the prices are almost twice as high as Golden Garden and the portions are about 50% less GG’s. You get what you pay for.
If you want Chinese food quickly and a good deal of it for your money, Golden Garden is a decent bet. Just don’t expect it to be the best Chinese you’ve eaten, or even close.
