I stopped in here after checking out NJ.com’s Must Try Foods — Pork Roll Egg and Cheese. He has never steered me wrong, I’m not saying this place was bad by any means. I just wouldn’t go out of my way to stop in for a sandwich. There were about 4 – 5 slices of pork roll which didn’t seem to withstand the overpowering kaiser roll. The eggs and cheese were just ok too. If you’re in the area stop by, the staff was very friendly and the service was quick. If you are traveling just to try the sandwich it may not be worth it.

Place is amazing. People who work there are awesome. Old school deli. If you like fancy and eclectic don’t come here. If you like great food this is your place.

Heard about Olde Towne Deli on Pete Genoveses top 50NJ foods list and had to try it. He was spot on, as this was probably the best taylor ham, egg and cheese sandwich I’ve had in a long time. Perfect amount of melted cheese and a nice portion size of taylor ham and egg. It did not disappoint. They have an extended menu of other deli sandwiches which sounded good too. Great local mom and pop shop, as every customer knew the employees. Fast and friendly service. Will have to come back again if I’m near the area.

So what makes the best pork roll sandwich in NJ? Easy. Pork Roll. Tons of it. There are at least four slices on their sandwich. This along with fresh local ingredients and smiling service sets the sandwich experience at this establishment apart from the rest. If you want turn your morning around, head over to Olde Towne Deli.

My brother from Boston shot me a text and wanted me to try this place. I live in this town and didn’t even know this place existed. One day, I needed an afternoon snack… drove to Olde Towne Deli! Went into the store ordered the Taylor ham, eggs and cheese sandwich. Affordable. Friendly staff. I became a fan immediately as soon as I bit into the sandwich. My little ones also became their fans! I haven’t tried any other sandwiches other than the one I mentioned above. Gotta go back again.

They always get orders wrong. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with a side of home fries. They put the home fries on the sandwich. Weird. I ordered scrambled eggs for someone to take home, and they gave me one fried egg. It’s never a good experience here.

In my opinion this is by far the best place to grab lunch! The taylor ham egg and cheese over here is the best. Cheese steak and their whole grilled menu are by far amazing. The service was quick and friendly. Would recommend it here all the time!

We stopped by Olde Towne Deli on our drive from NY to Cleveland. This deli is located in a quaint town with ample street parking. We came here for the famous NJ pork rolls, and we heard this place is the best in town! The owners and workers were super friendly, and they answered a lot of our questions! The Taylor Ham sandwich is what you need to get if you wanna try out the pork rolls. It was pretty much a breakfast sandwich with cheese and eggs. But the ham was a lot more savory than your regular grocery store ham. The portion is pretty huge too for $ 4! Definitely give it a try if you’re passing by :)

The people who work there are really nice. But I would not rate their Taylor, egg, ham, and cheese as the best like advertised. I found a hair in it which is not cool.

Great sandwiches! This family run ‘jewel of Main Street’ is always fresh and the service is always friendly. Taylor Ham, Egg & Cheese is the simply the best! Kudos to one of the last of the true old school delis left. The only down side is that sometimes you have to wait for the best… but the conversation is always good.

Delicious food! I had a very large order of breakfast sandwiches and they all came out perfectly with everything that was requested on each! I was impressed. the ONLY downfall is they don’t accept credit/debit cards. when I’m in the Boonton area again I will absolutely go back.

The best Taylor ham egg and cheese sandwich on the planet. We always call in before we pick our order up and it’s always done to perfection. Great family owned and operated business.

This is a great place. My older brothers started going here in High School and so did I. Taylor ham sandwich’s are excellent! With or without eggs. Yes it is small, gets packed Sat/Sun mornings. But like the person who mentioned in another review, something good is going on is absolutely right. Cheese steak here is great as well!

As mentioned in the other review, the space is tight which gets crazy when it’s packed. Prices are appropriate. The subs and breakfast sandwiches are great– you def get hearty portions. They will make special items for you(like an omelet) and not overcharge which is def generous of them.

A great deli. They make great sandwiches and is geared towards breakfast sandwiches mainly. I’ve gone here for years and they’re always friendly. The owner works there and the prices are right. The space is tight, but that usually because people are packed in there. In a town like Boonton, a packed place means something good is going on since there isn’t a shortage of any food places.
