These good people are always happy to help with smart people in every department. This is my 10^th year dealing with them!

First, I believe in shopping locally and always try to support our local merchants in town. I’ll go a long way to do so, paying more if it means that we have a stronger local economy (as opposed to improving the economy of Bentonville, AK). That being said, I cannot continue to do business with this company.
Here is the background. I went in recently to return a cell phone product that one of their sales staff said was great. They told me that this product was guaranteed and that I could return it if I had the sales slip. Well, the product they sold me was the wrong one for the cell phone so it did not work and I took it in the next day to return it. Lo and behold, they refused to allow me the return even though I was sold the wrong product because I did not have the original packaging. This was a cell phone cover that had almost no packaging! Needless to say, I did not have it and they refused to make good on their promise even after talking to the owner.
In general, the merchandise in the store is old technology that they are selling at high prices. They even have one of the first Apple TVs that they are trying to sell at the price of a new model Apple TV. Same goes for hard drives, memory cards, TVs, and many of their other products.
Avoid this store (and the one in Damariscotta) and try to find your needs at one of our great local hardware stores. Failing that, I’d suggest buying online.
