Stefanie and her staff were so accommodating and the harbor view from our deck was amazing. That view and a cup of coffee was a fantastic start to our day. This trip was in celebration of my wife’s birthday and we couldn’t have picked a better venue. Stefanie’s breakfast buffet was to die for … two kinds of quiche, warm biscuits with homemade strawberry jam, home fried potatoes(both regular and sweet) just really good food that made for a great beginning to our shopping trip that started just steps down the road from the inn. When we returned from shopping the staff had just baked cookies for the guests in which of course we indulged. Each day when we returned to our room it had been professionally cleaned, vacuumed and beds made up ready for us to do nothing. So, if you want an expert staff that can direct you to the best places in the area, a view of the harbor, access to everything and a breakfast fit for a king then Harbor Towne Inn is the place to be. The B&B was amazing. Not only was the location gorgeous, but the staff was extremely helpful and kind. Each of the two mornings my wife and I were treated to a delicious breakfast and fresh coffee. The view from the building was amazing(even more so when high tide was there). It was also an easy and short walk to the lovely town center The room was small and quaint with a nice New England feel. The only downside I found was that the bed was extremely firm. Personally I prefer soft beds, but that is purely a preference. Finally, we were given a small bottle of wine as we were there on our honeymoon. Overall, A+!

I hate to write a bad review because the people running the place are so nice but I have to. We stayed in room 11: harbor view deluxe room. We stayed here last month. The first impression I got when entering our room was that the door stuck. It was hard to open. I had to kick the bottom to unstick it. it smelled stale when the door did open. Then I saw the pink carpet, the wicker dresser, the un matching different style wicker couch. The room hadn’t been remodeled in twenty years. We stayed anyway because in high season you can’t get a reservation on short notice. As time went by I realized what it reminded me of: our first apartment after we were married. The towel rack had paint splatters on it. The bathroom floor was old linoleum. The mini fridge was in the bathroom and had a microwave sitting on top of it. The light switches didn’t match. The bathroom window had no screen and no fart fan. The shower head was the kind you can buy for $ 5 at Home Depot. The tv was 19 inch non hd. One morning I used up the last of the toilet paper before I left. I didn’t put on a new roll because I figured the maids would. Nope. Still cardboard when we returned. The next morning we took coffee back to our rooms. The cups were still there in the afternoon. Our room wasn’t harbor view. If we went out on the porch we could see the harbor. Problem was other people could sit right outside our room and talk and drink on that porch. Not much privacy. It’s a cute house and probably has cute rooms but we were in the annex. It has a great location, an easy walk to The center of town. Booth bay harbor is picturesque and quiet.

We had a wonderful stay. Renee was helpful and friendly and I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Boothbay. We got there WAY late 11:00pm and she was still very accommodating. Breakfast was delicious in the morning and everyone ate together which I loved because breakfast was out between 8:30 — 9:00am and you didn’t want to miss it. The location was perfect. We walked to the town which is right outside the Inn for kayaking, lunch and dinner. I look forward to coming back.

Great place to stay. My boyfriend and I stayed here for just one night so we could walk around town. Very convenient to downtown and foot bridge. Stephanie was an extremely friendly host. Our room was very clean, 1st floor room so we really didn’t have much a view of the water but was great for what we were looking for. We had a private entrance and private bath. We are first time B&B people so don’t take my review into consideration if your a hardcore B&B person. We missed breakfast as it was our first chance to sleep in a bit since being on vacation. If we were ever back in town we would stay here again.

We will definitely stay here again when we are in Boothbay! Stephanie is a marvelous host — it feels like a privilege to stay at her inn. Rooms are cozy and comfy, lots of antiques and Victorian touches throughout. The first night, we walked through downtown Boothbay Harbor which is charming(and not too crowded, off-season); the second night we sat on the Inn’s dock and watched the tide come in along the lights of Boothbay Harbor. And the food! Fresh homemade cookies the afternoon we arrived. The breakfast was tremendous, in quality, variety, and quantity. There’s an option to eat in the dining room with other guests, or sit overlooking the bay.

Classic Victorian B and B, filled with antiques and friendly service. Comfy bed and great breakfast. Very relaxed atmosphere and wonderful view of the harbor from the parking lot but not from our room.

Absolutely phenomenal stay!!! When we arrived it was later in the evening, exhausted from plane rides and mad dashes through the airports. The Inn keeper greeted us with a warm smile and the most delicious homemade cookies fresh from the oven. The room was beautiful, the perfect amount of Victorian elegance bound with coziness, it felt as if we were staying with good friends. I’m a foodie so of course my favorite part was in the morning the Inn keeper’s daughter prepared a beautiful breakfast for us. I had blueberry, banana pancakes, fresh fruit, bacon, and blueberry juice!
