Horrible food, service, and drinks! Avoid eating here at all costs! There are so many other places around Boothbay to eat at. I don’t know how this place has a 4.5 review but I fell for it and went here and now I’m saving the rest of you from a painful experience. My drink didn’t even have vodka in it! I paid $ 8 for pink lemonade and an orange slice. Terrible bartender! My salad was a hot mess! How do you screw up a salad, you ask? I don’t know, but this place has experience in it.

The staff was very nice. We went early in the season so there was no outdoor seating which would probably be awesome right on the water. So we were inside with some locals and a couple of tour bus crowds. With the picnic tables outside I didn’t think it would a table linen place, but it was. The place is not fancy inside, but has a great view. We didn’t do the lobster bake but has perfectly adequate seafood Alfredo and seafood stew. The seafood seemed very fresh, but the dinner in general seemed very pre-prepped and made for the masses. Great for an incoming tour or wedding reception!

4 of us stopped here after a trip out to Monhegan Island and we had been drinking the whole way back. I am going to assume this had something to do with the waitress’s unfriendliness. However the lobsters make up for that! The 2 guys got the triple-3 lobsters, slaw and a roll for 20.00 and the 2 ladies had the double. same thing minus a lobster! served in a giant plastic container at a picnic table. Can’t beat the prices! But like the Fisherman’s Wharf across the bay a little better!

We stayed at the Inn where they suggested we try their lobster bake. We each got 21−¼ lb lobsters for $ 20. So sweet and delicious. The best lobster we had on our vacation! The atmosphere was festive, great view and friendly staff making this a memorable evening.

We went on Memorial Day Weekend, so the prices were probably lower than they would be in mid-summer. However, the food was excellent, plentiful, and very reasonable. Particularly good was the Lobster Bake, which included two small lobsters, a few steamers, corn on the cob, baked potatoes, and a cup of their outstanding chowder. They also make a very good seafood salad. The views of the harbor are exceptional.
