The Not So Boring Bar & Grill

This is not an experience for foodies. This is where you go for comfort. The food is deep fried, and good! The music program is by the public, and quite good! I love this bar!

Came to the not so boring bar hoping for a lively atmosphere and amazing food. This place does not disappoint !! We ordered the bacon ranch wrap which was amazing and the onion rings were to die for! The buffalo wings were the perfect amount of spicy not too mild and not too hot! The drinks were nice and strong which is always a plus, no one likes a watered down drink. And lastly, the bartenders were very accommodating and friendly! We will definitely come back the this bar if ever in the area! Cheers!

Delicious! Hubby was raving about the burger, and the chicken in my Cobb was so juicy and flavorful. What a great meal! Two different kinds of fries to suit us, kids menu and very friendly and efficient service. Hope to eat here again soon!

I went to Boring, Oregon a few weeks ago to visit a friend’s farm. There aren’t many attractions in Boring, surprising right? But we wanted to grab some lunch and beers so stopped in. This is totalllllly a local’s joint. Everyone knows each other, and everyone is a regular.
They had a really solid beer selection which surprised me for a divey bar, but then again… it IS Oregon. My boyfriend ordered a burger, I had a wrap, and our friend tried the cobb salad. We also ordered two bowls of home-​made clam chowder. OMFG that chowder — CHUNKY, CLAMMY, AND CREAMY. So effin’ bomb. Everything we ate was really good and the portions were huge. I had a side of tator tots and they were nice and crispy.
Great local watering hole with fantastic food and good booze.

Good drinks, nice people, we caught the live music one night it was great. I have not tried the food yet, but I hope it’s fresh organic, it’s super easy to make it right.

Delicious!!! Had the grilled chx. Hurricane wrap. Sis n law had the grilled chx. Bacon ranch wrap. Had tots and hand cut fries. Not greasy, very good service, cold beers! After the experience we had at the golf course earlier this was the bomb. Thanks Boring!

A friend of mine and I decided to meet over burgers for dinner, and boy, I’m glad we did. We each got the Boring Burger with steak fries, and it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. We could’ve had the Not As Boring Burger or the Not So Boring Burger; love the names! She had a beer that she said was wonderful.
There were players at the dart board and others at the bar, but the noise level (including the music) wasn’t so loud that we couldn’t hear each other.
Service was great and I know we’ll be back again. This place is a great addition to Boring and isn’t boring at all; the owners are terrific, and the food cooked to perfection.
I wish there were more booths, but there just isn’t room. If we’re lucky, they’ll have room in one every time we go in.

I want to give this place a great review — due to their decent food and good beer selection, but I have been here too many times when it took an excessive amount of time to receive my food order. Manager apologized, but didn’t offer anything else (at least topping off my free refill beverage would be have welcomed). Great selection of beer for a small place. Service is a not great and they need to give the kid (the cook) in back some help.
Short version — Food is quite good if you don’t mind waiting a long time for it (if they are busy or not), and the service needs to be more pro-​active.

Great food, great varity of beer on draft. Live music 2 or 3 nights a month. Great owners, nice family envirnment. WII on huge screen for the kids. BIKER FRIENDLY.

Family friendly. Great soup and fries. We’ll be back.

When you go through Boring, Oregon, now you have more of a reason to stop — not just to take a picture of our sign, but to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner with the entire family and at incredibly reasonable prices. Just enjoyed the best omelet I’ve had in a long time — «The Ultimate Boring Omelet» — makes for a filling breakfast filled with freshness.
As I gazed through the extensive menu I realized that they have made sure that your palette and plate will be filled with many of your favorites whether it be a cheeseburger, steak or perhaps biscuits and gravy. There really is something for everyone in the family. There is even one of my favorites — mac & cheese.
So. stop the car dad — let’s have lunch and then come back for dinner.
