Breakfast was the best we had in all of New Mexico! Green chili is hot with lots of great flavor. Kids loved the French Toast and bacon. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. We will be back!

We stopped in Sopas for a late lunch and at first it reminded us of a rustic Wecks only better. The atmosphere was wonderful, the staff was amazing, and the menu was inexpensive. Most restaurants are charging $ 12 bucks for an $ 8 burger. At Sopas you get a $ 12 burger for $ 8 bucks. It’s truly authentic New Mexican food. Amazing red chili. The best I’ve ever had. If anyone says this stuff isn’t hot, then they need a reality check! I’ve been eating green and red chili for over 10 years in NM and their red is the hottest I’ve ever had. What a place. Second hottest was up at Sandia Crest in the gift shop café. Go out of your way to go to Sopas. It will be worth the time. I’m just sad I couldn’t eat EVERYTHING on the menu!

Food was good. Sopapillas were overdone and chewy. Nice atmosphere, good service and service was fast.

Ate there twice, salsa is good, food & service lacking, can find better within a ½ mile in either direction.

Excellent food and service. The red chile is not hot but very tasty. Great for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Locally owned and operated. The staff has been the same over years, and all of them provide exceptional service. The only negative is the restaurant closes after lunch on Saturday and Sunday. Sopas also caters and offers party planning and space. They now have Blue Moon beer.

This is a good New Mexican restaurant. Both the red and green chile have good flavor and heat, but we would have like to have more of it on our plate. We had huevos and the eggs were cooked the right way. The hashbrowns are crunchy on the outside soft in the middle, but I think I will try the papas next time. They gave us complimentary salsa and chips. The flour tortillas were the standard boring prepared type. Something different about this place is they have an almost all male wait staff, and they are friendly and efficient.

I was visiting family in Albuquerque who had brought me to some restaurants known for their New Mexican cuisine. Those were fine, but pricey and I thought overrated. A friend of mine brought me to Sopas and what a treat. I had the Indian Taco, which I enjoyed very much. My friend had a patty melt that he said was quite good. The Indian Taco came with sopapillas, which I love to eat when I am in New Mexico and those were very good as well. The menu looked diverse. I will certainly return to try more next time I am in town.

I was visiting family in New Mexico. And they told me about a Good place in Bosque Farms. The food was outstanding. The service was outstanding as well. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the Albuquerque area.

Very good. I strongly recommend the combo Mexican platter. The rellenos are really good. The Friday night fish fry is crunchy and the fish nice and moist.
