Attraction Nail and Spa

Myself and my Daughter loves this place so much. We live in shreveport and we thought it’s the best place to do nails. I mostly do my eye brows when I go there and I have never complained neither need disappointed. They are friendly and courteous. They give a very good service, outstanding service infact. Oh how could I have forgotten, I put on tips there offer and I can tell you, it was great. They work fast and work good.

This is not my normal place I go to for a pedicure, but I was in the area and on a whim decided to stop in. I didn’t know anything about this spa, I just choose it at random because it was close.
I got seated right away, and the lady who worked on my feet was friendly, but spoke only broken English. Maybe that’s why she never asked me what kind of pedicure I wanted. That was weird — she never asked if I wanted the basic, or a deluxe. Spas almost always try to up-​sell you, but she never asked if I wanted a scent, or paraffin wax… nothing.
She sat me in the chair and filled up the tub, but she never turned on the back massager. Later, when I turned it on myself, I found out why — it hurt! I don’t know if the chair was broken, or just a cheap chair, but instead of a relaxing, rolling massage, all of a sudden I had these balls jamming into my back and shoulders. It felt like someone was beating me with a mallet. Needless to say, I turned the massager back off.
The chair was also pulled up too close. I have long legs and I was cramped. I tried to find on the controls how to move the chair back, but I couldn’t figure it out and the woman never offered to adjust the chair or asked if I was comfortable.
One of the best parts of a pedicure is when they wrap your legs in warm towels. The lady brought one towel, and draped it over my legs — not wrapped, draped. She did an ok basic pedicure — I’ve had better — and charged me $ 30 dollars. So at least it was cheap. Which is a good thing because I came out feeling neither relaxed nor happy.
I would NOT recommend this place to anyone! There are so many other spas to choose from, why would you come here for a painful chair and mediocre service?

I am a former soldier. I have lived in many places, including some overseas. But I have never had a pedi as thorough and relaxing as I just had. The gentleman is quiet and didn’t seem to understand me too well but this basic pedi was better than any deluxe or hot stone or even paraffin wax I’ve had. Found my new nail shop

I’m in town visiting with my in-​laws, and prayed I’d find a good nail shop, and I’m glad I came here. They started my nails right away and everyone was very friendly. I like my gel manicure!

I was impressed by the other good reviews for this place on Unilocal,so I decided to give this place a go. I won’t be back…
I made a 2pm appointment and showed up early. I chose my color (not impressed with their selection of OPI, by the way) I was seated promptly in a pedicure chair. And was then forgotten for almost an hour. Had my husband not dropped me off on the way to run an errand, I would have just left.
The manicure was definitely not the best I’ve ever had– they use old, stained rags as hot towels. I can feel the small cuts on my toes where she went too far with the cuticle snipper, and the polish job was kinda streaky.
I’m not even staying around for the manicure.

This place is dirty and not well kept at all. I’m grossed out by the lack of cleanliness. This pertains to the salon on Stockwell rd

First time customer here but was very pleased. I did have to wait awhile since they were busy and I was a walk in, but once I got started I was done quickly. I got a colored gel manicure, and it was well done for my small and short nails. The guy that did the manicure also kept a conversation going so it didn’t seem to take very long. Overall, I got the color I wanted and felt well treated. The only complaint was waiting– but that helps me know they’re good. Will definitely go back.

I went in today for the basic pedicure. I am amazed at the attention to detail and the amount of time the woman (Lee) spent on my toes.
I was worried when I first walked in. The décor isn’t anything to write home about. But I was greeted warmly. I brought a book because I don’t like to chit chat and the lady respected that. There was a TV on, but it wasn’t loud and I was able to tune it out.
I spent an hour and a half in the chair: there is definitely first rate time being spent on customers here.
The only thing I don’t like, is that I did not witness sanitization nor were the tools she used on me taken out of plastic in front of me. That doesn’t mean it isn’t being done however. My technician is wearing gloves. So long as my toes don’t become infected or chip tomorrow, I will be coming back. This has been the best pedicure experience I have had.

Both the lady that did my pedi (deluxe pedi) and the gal that did my eyebrow wax were wonderful. They were kind and considerate. I was very please with both services and really liked the results. The price was very reasonable too, $ 50 for both services. I will definitely be back.

I am currently admiring my nails as I write this review. Dang, my nails look good!!!
While driving down Airline, looking for a spot to get our nails done, Attraction Nails appeared more promising than other places we eyed. Plus, they had a decent rating on Unilocal,although averaged from only from a total of three reviews. So me, along with my two girlfriends, pulled over and gave it a shot. Two other women were in the process of getting their nails done at the time we walked in without a appointment. Luckily they took us right away, setting up three pedicure chairs for us to get started.
Two men were free to start working on two of our pedicures, mine included. I was awarded with Peter, and he put my faith back in men doing my nails. In the past, some men have attacked my cuticles and left me leaving with nicks and cuts out the door, so I always brace myself when a guy walks up to do my nails. Luckily, Peter didn’t fall into that category. He did a great job and left me nick free! It was very relaxing and he didn’t rush through either my pedicure or my manicure.
*If you want a good gel color for this Holiday season, go with Gelish’s «Good Gossip». It is a beautiful red, filled with sparkles, guaranteed to get you compliments!
I will admit Attraction was a little pricey. $ 30 for my gel manicure. $ 30 for my pedicure. My total bill was $ 60. After a $ 13 tip (which I was able to leave on my credit card), I left paying a grand total of $ 73. That said, I’m writing this review a week later, and my nails look as if I got them done yesterday, and I’ve received numerous compliments. Did I pay more than I wanted for a manicure and pedicure? Yes, but it was worth it. I’ll be back to Attraction Nail and Spa if I ever need my nails done while in Bossier City again.

I went in late on a Friday night. They were busy and still happily accepting new walk-​ins. Angel did my nails. She was friendly, fast, and did an amazing job. The shop was clean and the staff was very nice. I had a french manicure done and an eye brow wax. Both were done to perfection. I will not be going to any other salon from here on out!

I love this place. I will only come here for all of my manicure and pedicure needs. They also have small hand and foot spa treatments, ear candling and eye brow waxing. They are very friendly and service was quick and properly done.
