I really don’t know anything about this company except for a terrifying encounter with one of their trucks on the highway. The following is a transcript of an e-mail sent to the director of HR. I first want to say that I did finally get through to Mr. Brad Albritton who is a Vice President at the home office. He did apologize for the lack of communication and did blame it on hurricane Isaac which I do understand. He did take the license number and assured me that he would talk to the driver’s supervisor. He did give me the impression that he knew which driver I was calling about. I only hope that they do take the appropriate action and try to keep the roads safe. One of your trucks was traveling on Interstate 30 just outside of Little Rock and we were in bumper to bumper traffic when a truck from your company came racing up on my bumper. I was in the right lane minding my own business and the traffic was stop and go in all three lanes. The driver was a young man wearing a baseball hat with dark hair and was using his cell phone. He was making gestures at men while on the phone and when traffic would start to move he seemed to by popping the clutch and and then slamming on his brakes just short of hitting my car. At one point while traffic was moving at about 10 mph he blew his horn for about 30 seconds and shaking his fist at me while ridding my bumper. He finally passed me and I witnessed him driving erratically and then cut off other traffic to pull and drive into a restricted lane. During this encounter he was using a cell phone(not hands free) which I understand is a hefty fine by the DOT. I am very concerned not only at the criminal behavior of this driver but at the lack of concern of Matt who is the customer service agent who answered the phone when I chose option zero when calling your company. Matt promised to have the driver manger call, I assume that would be Grady Derry. When I didn’t get a call back I called and spoke to Matt again who put me through to a person who sounded like he was working in a shop somewhere and I didn’t think he was concerned because he really didn’t have a response even when I offered the license plate number of the truck pulling your trailer. I called Matt back to share this with him and he said that he would have the Vice President call me which didn’t happen and I assume that is Brad Albritton. The above names referenced where taken from the company website.
