It’s ok. Better than chain pizza. They should take it easy on the cheese for a more New York experience though. We also had a sausage pizza that had WAY too much sausage on it, easy to pick off, but shouldn’t be necessary.

My husband surprised me with this pizza for dinner. I had asked him to pick up some pizzas on his way home, but was thinking more of the $ 6 basic, boring pizzas. I had thought NY-style pizza to be a lost cause here and wasn’t expecting much. I already had the ranch dressing sitting out on the counter.(Huh? You’ve never dipped a pizza in ranch? For shame.) But he walked in with almost all the bases covered. Cannoli’s? Check. Big foldable slices? Check. Drippy, gooey cheese that needs to be patted with a napkin to absorb the orange grease? Check. Eggplant? Triple check. Put that bottle of ranch away! It has no place with this kind of pizza! So what was the problem for me? Super, super salty. I had a difficult time eating just one piece. I actually ate soup instead. The men folk only said it was«a little salty» and hoovered it down. The next morning there were a couple slices left in the fridge and it was a struggle to pass up cold pizza(Whatever. I can love cold pizza if I want to). So I didn’t. I grabbed a slice and noticed that cold, the salt wasn’t as overpowering. I ate both slices. This place could easily be a five star joint if they cut the salt down and offered pizza by the slice(do they? My husband wasn’t sure). Maybe leave those eggplant pieces a little bigger too.

HANDSDOWN the best pizza in Shreveport/Bossier!!! All fresh ingredients, made when you order. Plus, their staff is extremely friendly. It was great finding a homemade pizza place with excellent quality food. This is now our«go-to» pizza place!

Upon arriving you will be greeting by a confusing assortment of cash registers at opposite ends of the restaurant. If you were lucky enough to arrive in a regularly trafficked lunch hour you will enjoy the cattle herding experience from register to register. Hopefully between being shuffleboarded between registers you will have had about 15 to 20 minutes to decipher the cryptic menu. The Navajo code talker designed menu is sure to provide puzzling merriment while you work up an appetite. I’m a fairly intelligent person, but don’t enjoy the struggle of deciphering a menu. According to the menu there are various lasagnas available but only God and the cattle herder behind the cash register knew what they were. After hearing the lasagnas they don’t have I decided to eat a lasagna they did have. Honestly it really was delicious. I enjoyed it all afternoon long. There were five of us having lunch together. The first person received their pizza a few moments after sitting down. The last person got their pizza about 30 minutes after sitting down. The food was randomly distributed about as cryptically as their menu is. I highly recommend going to this unique restaurant and experiencing the cryptologist’s delight.(By the way that’s a secret menu item.)
