Seated ourselves after no one approached us to seat us. Terrible music playing. Too many tables crowded together in one room. Needs dividers or something to help drown out conversation noises. Seemed under-staffed. Overall not an enjoyable experience.

I had Rotolo’s last night after two recommendations. It was tasty and came out of the kitchen hot! A very popular place for sure! When we got there, there were no other customers and by the time we left the restaurant was full and about 10 people had called in carry out orders. Only reason for not giving 5 stars was the price. The pasta dishes were about $ 15 each and came on a plastic plate. Kids meals were $ 6 and the kids pizza was just a single cheese pizza no fruit or salad with it. The pizza was delicious! Definitely will be going back!

I don’t know why it says they deliver on here. They don’t. Don’t waste your time calling and double checking.

I recently went to Rotolos for a rehearsal dinner… so big group. They did an excellent job of accommodating us and in a timely manner. The pizzas were rolling out with a quickness. The drinks were constantly filled up and the staff was friendly. This is a small pizza joint with very creative pizzas. I truly enjoyed the crust as well as the sauce. The BBQ pizza is the bomb and I also enjoyed the meats pizza. I love that they have a gluten-free option as well. They have a full bar and plenty of staff to accomadte.

Maybe an off night, not sure. First time eating here which is odd considering how close to home it is. I hate to nitpick, but staff wasn’t on point this evening. Seated, waited upwards of 10 minutes before anyone came to table, several more before drinks came back etc. Just overall very slow(It did seem they were training however). Ordered 14″ krewe pizza, appetizer of parmesan breadstick bites and son got the kid’s cheese pizza. Appetizer was pretty good, pizza however was greasy, crust was super thin and chewy. Overall flavor was not much better than frozen pizza, toppings uneven or completely missing on certain slices, no consistency. My son’s cheese pizza was fine, only annoying when his crust seemed right compared to ours. I will likely try them again, possibly get a calzone or try the pasta, hope this first trip was a fluke.

So here is what I look for in a pizza(me being a New Englander by birth) — I want a thin crust(but not cracker thin like the diet conscious obsess over), huge foldable slices that drip orange grease from all that *almost* spicy pepperoni. I want to see a sprinkle of oregano on the cheese. I want the option to add fried eggplant, big cheese and red pepper shakers on the table, cannoli sold in a glass case, counter service and buy-by-the-slice. Essentially, I want a New York-style pizza. I heard Rotolo’s was the place for this. My son and I were seated within seconds of walking in and our drink orders taken before I could glance at the menu– that was good, however, maybe if I had had a few seconds I would have left. We weren’t looking for full pizzas or sit-down service. But by the time I realized I would be spending more than I had anticipated, it was too late to leave. But those were the results of my misconceptions so I won’t ding any stars for that. The personal pizzas looked tiny and for $ 8 each we instead opted to spend $ 8 more and buy the 18″ Deluxe Combination for $ 24 and take the rest home for lunch the next day. I feel like the price was extremely high. Taking a star off for that. The place looks like a bar inside. The vibe was off, but then I was expecting a NY-style pizza place. The servers were fantastic and very pleasant. Our server even told me that although they don’t list eggplant as a topping, I could certainly get it put on. Yay! Our pizza was out fast. The pizza was definitely not NY-style. The slices were average sized and not drippy. The cheese wasn’t spiced. But the crust was very good and the toppings were fresh. Had I come in just for normal pizza, I would have been satisfied. Of course, my review reflects that :) what I didn’t like, as far as taste goes, is the sauce. It’s a tad too sweet for my taste. I’m still going to eat it. And this is certainly the best tasting pizza we’ve had so far in this town, but I can’t say I’ll crave it. (Message me if you know of a pizza place around here that fits my specifications)

We really liked not having to go all the way to Shreveport for Rotolos. This location feels more cozy and much less hectic also. Food was very good and we will be back.

Wow! Rotolo’s opened shop in Shreveport a couple years ago. I never made it there… I HATEGOINGTOTOWN!(When I get to that part of town, I go to Frank’s…which is not often… because I HATEGOINGTOTOWN!) That said, WOW! We ordered an 18 inch pepperoni, sausage, and mushroom, thin crust pie, and it was a slice of NYC! Fantastic crust… stringy cheese, and a sweet(ER than I like, but acceptable) sauce with a crushed red pepper bite. Good selection of craft beers on tap, and a full bar will ensure that I return for Saints Football! Television on every wall. Samuel was a good server… bordering on being a «hoverer», but stepped back, and got a good tip. Hat tip to Sam, and I will request his service area again. Recap: This joint beats all chain joints, hands down. No they don’t deliver pizza, but they deliver taste that can’t be found in these parts!

Reminds me of the seating and format of some of the old style pizza palace type locations. A little too close for comfort, an after the game type place, no atmosphere to speak of beyond hanging out with your friends and family. But okay. The pizza is average, the sauce is rather bland. I don’t think Pizza is understood very well in the Ark-La-Tex. I would rate it better than Johnny’s but it’s not memorable.

Environment was sportsy, fun, but not too loud. It might’ve been better it wasn’t one big square room though. Booth seating was somewhat limited. Server was great. Calzone was awesome(huge!) — nice pizzeria taste without the canned feeling of a dominoes or Johnny’s. Pita with roasted red pepper hummus was top notch. Would love to try the spinach dip next time! Bread sticks were really good too!
