Me, my girlfriend and her two brothers stayed the night here back in September during a weekend. We had a gray time. It was only 1.3 miles from margaritaville casino. It was $ 100/night which we felt was reasonable. The place was nice and clean. TV stations were clear. The elevators are extremely slow though. The breakfast was free. Waffles, sausage, toast, cereal, juices, and eggs. However the powdered eggs were no delight. But overall I’ve been meaning to post this positive review. I’ll probably stay here in all future trips to Shreveport

We stayed at this hotel for a graduation. The hotel had some good reviews on . so we decided to give it a try. The outside looks like an old hospital but that was not the issue. We had about an $ 86 rate online for multiple days and multiple rooms. I first called the hotel to see if they’d match the rate because I know how the third party sites work so I wanted to give them the money instead but they didn’t want it. So fine that’s their money they are messing with. What the site didn’t day is that they were renovating, which wasn’t too much of an issue but not all areas or floors were done, and the floors they said were completed really didn’t look as good as they may have wanted. So we check in and they were accommodating by putting us together but when we got to the room both were not cleaned! So we went back to the let them know and I’m guessing the manager was really nice and apologetic and upgraded us to the consierge level which was nice but it really didn’t look too different from the rooms we were in previously. But she was nice about and it was a nice gesture. We needed to get ready and we were on a schedule, when we turned on the water in the shower the water was brown. When confronted on this they stated they had to turn off the water to do some work on it and they had just turned it on again. They should have had the staff go through the rooms and make sure all pipes were cleaned and ready for guests. They should have at least given us breakfast or drinks for all the issues we had as we had to move rooms once again because our ac was not working because it was frozen. I know they are trying to do well but they missed the mark this time. We pay money and we didn’t get the experience that a Wyndham is known for.

After reading reviews on another site we booked via cell phone. Pulled up and the cops were next door.(Sketchy neighborhood.). Checked in, and lobby was OK. My husband asked if they had a shuttle and to the boardwalk/casino and was simply told, «No.» Proceeded to our room, which looked fine on the surface but, my feet stuck to the bathroom floor, like they used too much cleaner and didn’t rinse??? 2 broken lamps also graced our room along with graffiti by our coffee maker. Best of all was the duct tape trim work in the bathroom. Clearly not up to standard.

Stayed here for 2 nights after being in Dallas for 5 nights at the Hilton Garden for business. Hotel is relatively clean and beds super comfortable and clean. Excellent bath towels and amenities. Only drawback is the cable. Continuously went in and out during a program that we really wanted to see. Called ahead to make sure they had SHO and HBO. They said yes. Unfortunately when we arrived it was broken and the front desk could have cared less because she said she lived in Shreveport and«you know how it is in this area». I was dumbfounded by that comment coming from a staff member. She never offered to have it repaired and said it stays out most of the time. Same thing with breakfast. The waffle maker has been broken since«I don’t know when». Then get it fixed. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone. Their only saving grace is Winifred, the sweet lady who prepares the entire breakfast everyday. She is a saint and what a great attitude. The front desk could really take some lessons from her.

We stayed here on the Fourth of July weekend. The hotel is clean and looks to be pretty new. We got into town half after noon and they were able to check in and get our room key right then. The bed was huge and comfy. My only complaint is the mini pillows they have on the beds. I usually bring my own pillow on trips, but I forgot this time. For the price we were happy with the quality of the room and the friendly staff. My friend went down and tried the continental breakfast and said it was pretty good. I didn’t wake up early enough either day to try it, but I did have a few cups of coffee that was still in the lobby and it was decent. I would stay here the next time we go to Shreveport. Especially with the $ 3 trips from Twin City shuttle that will take you to any hotel and casino. They run on Friday and Saturday from 11am-12am.(These guys were key in making our trip amazing! Use them!). The only downside was the pool, it was gross and green and didn’t look like it had been cleaned in a long while. They lost a star for that, we would have liked to relax by the pool for a bit, but not that gross pool. There was also a pizza place that had menus in the room. We ordered a pizza from them after midnight on Saturday and devoured it. They had a special 9.99 for a large one topping pie. Mmmmm.

We stayed here for one night, the place was very clean and still had the new paint smell. Breakfast was included, great price! Location is great, past all the busy areas but still very close to fun stuff. Front desk gave us a coupon for the local seafood eatery. Great stay, will be coming back.

This hotel is right down the street from the Horseshoe. Good location, has a great breakfast, was clean, very spacious, and the A/C was super cold if I wanted it to be. Microwave, fridge, and room safe included in the room. This hotel was better than I expected it to be and I would stay again if in the area.
