Location: Gate 8US Airways I ordered at 5AM and had my breakfast sandwich less than 2 minutes. They were kind to substitute the bagel into a crescent upon request and at no extra cost. They smilingly prepared my sandwich with care. Customer service was excellent! The sandwich was light but filling. No need for salt on the eggs the white cheddar and toasted buttery crescent gave it the perfect flavor.

Well, what do you want me to say? Another unremarkable au bon pain location. It doesn’t suck any more, or less, than any of the other ones.

Super fun experience here. I asked for a tuna wrap and requested that they add cheese(which I paid extra for). I saw the woman making the sandwich and didn’t see her add cheese, so I showed her the receipt and asked if I could please have cheese on the sandwich. She grunted and gave me a dirty look. Then, when I get the sandwich, I see no cheese on it(of course), so I brought it back up to the register and asked the cashier if they could please add cheese to the sandwich, since I did pay for it and all. Well, apparently that did NOT please the woman who made my sandwich. She literally tore it apart in her hands, pulls a piece of cheese out of it, and starts yelling at me that she DID in fact add cheese. I ended up informing them that I would not be eating a sandwich that was literally being held in this woman’s hand and asked for my money back. Instead of just saying«sure, no problem,» the cashier stood there for awhile, looking confused, and finally called someone(presumably a manager) to get approval to give my money back. The whole time, this sandwich maker woman stands there yelling at me(while other people gathered at the register) while waiving parts of what was my tuna sandwich around in her hand. Clearly customer service is a big priority in that store.

Coffee was quite disappointing in quality. The taste was too bitter and acidic relative to normal coffee. While they offer a good selection of food, the sandwich and pastries I tried just cried mass-produced.

Was at the one in Logan Airport’s in terminal C. You really can’t go wrong with a nice bowl of tomato bisque and a nice piece of bread. Pretty standard stuff here. Nothing special to say. A definite dearth of workers but, it wasn’t too busy so I really didn’t have much of a problem getting in and out and on my flight.

Would give zero star if there is an option. Chinese takeout places treat u better than them. When I order a sandwich, the guy asked me «are u sure?» I said why? dnd he said cuz of the price. I was like WOW. Will never come here again.

The guy was MIA when I, along with others that had walked in with me. The hot water was empty. The teas were all messed up, that area was a disaster, dirty mess. He tried to give me all my change for my $ 1 purchase in dimes and nickles. UM no, and you know he didn’t even ask or say anything and was just about to give it to me like what? I’ll gladly give you my card vs $ 10 in change, ask or say something.

My review is 3 stars + 1 star for nostalgia, let me explain por favor! After a red eye flight from San Jose for a friend’s bachelor party weekend, I arrived in Logan airport with my eyes half open. I saw Au Bön Pain, and reminisced about college days at Virginia Tech. We had an Au Bön Pain on campus, and I went there a few times a week. I graduated in 2006, and grabbing a mocha and croissant at the airport was my first time eating there since I graduated. The mocha was half mocha, and half foamy milk. Delicious, but kind of a ripoff, or perhaps incorrectly made. The croissant was amazing! Chocolate inside, powdered sugar on the outside. True, half of the powdered sugar wound up on my shirt, but good food tends to do that. In college, I remember Au Bön Pain having good clam chowder, fresh orange juice, and practically infinite pastries. Oh college, how I miss thee and the opportunities to chow down without me having to cook.

Sadly no seating but I don’t any of their airport locations have seating! Sandwiches, soups, their usual array of sweets, chips, nuts, coffee. Everything you would expect from their usual shops. One cashier though!

The service was negligent and the sandwich was not impressive at all compared to Starbucks’.

As far as places to nosh at airports go, this one is pretty good. Yummy pastries and decent coffee drinks. One of my traveling companions got the caramel macchiato and was pleased.
