Au Bon Pain

I’m not sure why this business gets such a bum rap on Unilocal.Yes, the staff are pretty indifferent, but come on. At this location, at least it probably pays minimal wage in an expensive city that more than likely requires a long bus ride to get onto airport premises if their experience is the same as others I know who’ve had airport jobs. I added this business because I didn’t see a match for it for existing ABP in BOS at Terminal A.
I love that this is a locally-​founded business in our relatively new spacious digs at Term A. I love that it’s not a McCafé, a BK or a Starbucks which is all too common at airports. It’s pretty clean, if small, with staff as mentioned above that would probably prefer to be elsewhere. You can order a sandwich fresh from the back if you have the time to wait. They serve soups and sandwiches which are pretty good and pastries which I’m not much into but it’s nice they have the option. Coffee is better if you hit up Dunkin Donuts but it works if you only want to make a single stop. I usually make at least one stop here when I come to Boston.
The fact that it’s pre-​security is a plus in my book. You can have a quick cup of joe or a muffin with the generous soul who offered to pick you up or walk you to the ticket counter! :)
