Stopped by this store there while shopping for a pair of hi-​fi headphones. Tried all their headphones from their Grado and Bower&Wilkins. Didn’t really get any advise from either salesman, as if they didn’t expect me to buy and didn’t want to waste their time and effort on me. In my first visit I spend about an hr listening to most headphones. The second time another hr. Both times no advise or interest to help. One salesman seemed busy setting up equipment and the other getting ready to leave. I made a few comments on the sound and they did not provide any knowledgeable feedback. I finally decided on my own for the B&W P5s and bought them. After a week of listening to these beautiful looking cans I realized that looks can be deceiving as the sound seemed muffled and was not happy with the sound. I took the them back 6 days later and the salesman tried to charge me 20% restocking fee! I could not believe it as most stores such as the Apple Store take any purchases back with no such charges. After some pleading he reduced the fee to 10%. Not a great first experience and don’t think I would be back.

I chose these folks over several other competing bids to do a complete audio visual system for a newly constructed house, and am I glad I did. Everything from informing me on choices in the design of the system, to the installation, to the follow up help when I added aditional components later was handled in a timely and professional manner. Can’t recommend them high enough.

Sold a pretty expensive product that didn’t work, and hit with a 15% restocking fee for returning it. Pretty harsh return policy, in my personal opinion.
The service was good, people were very pleasant, but caveat emptor!

I purchased a pair of Goldenear speakers from Audio Concepts earlier this year. I made multiple visits to the their Boston store before my purchase to listen to different speakers and research my decision. At all times I was given access to whatever I needed to help me and the staff were friendly and courteous — never overbearing and always handy when questions needed to be answered.
After purchase one of my speakers exhibited a problem and Audio Concepts worked with the manufacturer to identify and fix it. Audio Concepts even came to my house to complete the repair at no extra charge!
Highly satisfied customer (they are awesome speakers!) and highly recommended dealer. Drop in with your own music and have a listen to what they have.

The whole crew at Audio Concepts did a fantastic job throughout the installation of our home theater solution. Matt (@ the Boston store) coordinated specifications with our cabinet maker for our big plasma, subwoofer, in-​cabinet & ceiling speakers and all the requisite goodies, as well as conducted a thorough onsite walk-​through and planning session, and finally, fielded my numerous calls & emails from start-​to-​finish. The installation crew was professional, neat and precise — something we appreciated given the new cabinetry and furniture they were working in & around. All-​in-​all, we were very pleased with our experience and would use them again.

I was very impressed with their expertise and service. Very responsive and thorough work on setting up a home theater system and outdoor speaker system. The installer, Peter, went above and beyond staying late to finish the job so that it was ready for an event at my home. Todd was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them.

I purchased a full home system from the North Attleboro MA location. From my initial contact, to the install and then the instruction on how to work the system it was top notch all the way. Peter came out and worked out a system that was workable with my budget and Matt who did the install was over and above helpful. I had a small problem with a Sonos system that they took care of right away. Couldn’t be happier, I would recommend these guys to anyone looking for quality and excellent service. Thanks Guys!

i dropped over $ 11K on a partial system which is a drop in a bucket at this place, but I would have expected better post sale service. The actual sale was fine and informative. Delivery was timely. However, I never received my speaker wire connectors until I called to remind them. When they did arrive, they didn’t fit. Upon calling them, they seemed uninterested in my issue. I asked if I should go out and buy another set, and they said yeah. The proper response would have been to overnight me the correct connectors. Very disappointing.
