Avis Rent a Car

Easy to find and friendly service. They keep their cars on the 7^th floor of the garage so it takes about 5 min to get out. Car was clean.

The absolutely worst experience I ever had. If I could give negative stars I would. Car was/​is FILTHY inside. Slushy cups and papers on floor, etc. they then vacuumed it out. But no other cleaning was done. The passenger mat is so dirty with dried junk or whatever that I can’t put anything down on it. Inside there is a layer of dust that begs to be written on. Windows is so dirty that taking photos out of it is impossible. It is also obvious that someone also smoked it it. The air conditioning does not work well. The air does not get really cold. They left it to us to turn the car around in order to get the car oriented to get out of the parking structure. Back and forth, back and forth a few times since cars were double parked on both sides. There was not a full tank of gas in the car. The other person in our party had an even worst experience see review written yesterday.

Wish I could rate this zero stars. Incredibly bad service and incompetent to rent cars. I rented an SUV. They gave me an Equinox. It was FILTHY… full of trash, empty bottles, and other trash. Bags of trash on the floor! Then, the windshield was so full of bugs that it looked like it had been driven across the country. So, I take the rather long walk back to the office and down the 7 floors of the elevator and ask for another car. No apology. None. In fact, the guy acted like I was making stuff up. He reluctantly gave me another car… a Ford Flex. It was filthy, too, with all sorts of stuff from the previous renter, including their Boston Marathon badges, the rental agreement, etc. the windshield was also dirty will lots of bugs and a giant «7633» 4″ tall and a foot wide written on the inside the windshield. I can understand one slip up. But two? This agency is in serious need of some quality control.
I always rent from Avis but this experience makes me question why I have been loyal to them.
