Imagine my surprise as I opened my take out lunch and found good looking, but cold & soggy fries. My burger had been pre-cooked and kept in a basket near the grille. They put the cooked burger back on the grille, squirted water out of a plastic bottle around the perimeter of the burger, and covered it with an upside down metal bowl. Voila! A steamed burger. Disgusting!

The food is fresh and super flavorful. I could eat the Curry & Grilled Avocado quinoa bowl every day and not get sick of it. Downside is that it’s pretty pricey and there’s always a super long wait(even after the busy lunch hours), so if you’re in a rush this is definitely not a place to go for quick takeout.

Full disclosure: I’ve been for lunch a few times and thought their Spicy Avocado and Lime grain bowl was tasty but nothing special and everything seems a bit overpriced for what you get. I also had a hard time waiting ~20min on average from entering the door to receiving my food. Too long a wait for what I thought should be a quick lunch spot. I’d probably give them 3 stars just on their food, pricing, and in-restaurant service. My 1-star review is for a recent incident which I felt very underwhelmed at B Good’s management team. Three weeks ago I visited B Good for lunch with my boss. I ordered the Spicy Avocado and Lime grain bowl as I normally do. When I was close to finishing the bowl, I chomped down on some sort of pebble or dirt, which caused a toothache that lasted the better part of two weeks. I immediately reached out to B Good that afternoon via their online comments form. After not receiving any response the next day, I called the restaurant and spoke with Maria, the supervisor. She confirmed she had received the comment and told me she had brought it up with her Director of Operations, Jason Alonzi. She said he’d be contacting me in the next 24 hours. I never received a call. I called Maria back after the weekend passed to let her know I didn’t receive a call. She was surprised and provided me Jason’s email address to connect directly(adding that he promptly responds to email versus phone). I emailed Jason on January 19 informing him that I’d been expecting a call and would like to know the process to get reimbursed for any dental bills relating to my toothache. He didn’t respond for two days, so I emailed him again on January 21 trying to follow up and receive guidance on what the process was for submitting any dental bills that may result from a dental appointment I set for January 27. This time I received the following response: «I received your email regarding the toothache. Do you have any pictures, witnesses or validation of it happening in b.good. I am not questioning the validity of your acquisition just simply trying to gather as much information as possible to decide what direction we go from here. I look forward to hearing back from you with any further information.» I was not impressed with his lack of empathy for a situation his company caused, instead focusing on how I could corroborate my claim. Despite this disappointment, I informed him I went with my boss, who witnessed the incident, and he had the charge on his credit card statement should Jason require it. I never heard from Jason again. Thankfully my dentist checked me out and told me that 1) there’s no broken tooth; and 2) she expects the pain to subside without any dental work. She didn’t charge me, which was very nice of her. I let Jason know of the outcome, but I don’t expect a response anytime soon. Overall, I’m very disappointed with the level of empathy and service in B Good’s management ranks. Jason’s lack of empathy, action, and remorse that this occurred on a restaurant he manages is discouraging. I hope B Good learns how to better treat customers from this experience.

Food is decent, but not worth the prices they charge. To get a decent sized meal you’d spend $ 20.

Expensive for me, but locally sourced ingredients and the made to order service definitely impressed me. Very good selection of items to try, everything tasting great. From something traditional prepared and cooked perfectly. To vegetarian, or experimental food items that always prove to be worth trying. If you were to try any other place for food in the area you’re chancing some type of upset stomach after(Wendys, Mcdonalds, subway, burger king etc) With this location using very fresh locally sourced ingredients, prepared to order infront of you, and the location being exceptionally clean. I doubt you will ever feel upset after eating something here, I’d expect you to probably feel pretty good about what you just ate.(b’good?) I remember them having a nice soda selection too, not a traditional coke or pepsi brand setup. I’d stop by just for that. Eat here, not there.

This is a huge B. good, but it also gets crazy crowded for the lunch rush. I drop by here mostly because sometimes I really crave their sweet potato fries. They’re open at 11am, 30 minutes earlier than most lunch places. It’s pretty much deserted right at 11am so definitely drop by then if you want to beat the rush. The service here can only be described as «meh.» A lot of the staff definitely look like they would rather be in bed, and kind of move at a sluggish pace sometimes which can be annoying when there’s a huge line and you only have some time for lunch. Their burgers are pretty good — nice and meaty, and they have a lot of different toppings which is nice. I love their sweet potato fries. However, recently I’ve gotten their kale and grain bowls and they are absolutely awful. The quinoa is very soggy and not well done at all, and their sauce selection is very meh. I also do not understand how something can be extremely bland and also unbearably salty, but these bowls manage to do that. The salads are meh. Stick with their burgers, avoid their other foods.

I like this place a lot, but every time it takes 10+ minutes. This time, I ordered the milkshake + fries combo. Overall order was $ 17. They made my milkshake immediately and then I waited 20 minutes. This was at 1:30, so not during peak lunchtime. Please have the owner/manager address bc no customer should pay $ 17 for burger and fries and wait 20 minutes. I would have gone to Ruth Chris for same experience/price but wanted a quick lunch

Choices are delicious, love the seasonal burger, love the local soda. Fries are tasty and milkshakes are great. Salads are awesome. Kinda slow at lunch, sometimes orders get a little lost.

I like their food but the service is slow and left something to be desired. I ordered a southwestern chicken salad, chicken sandwich and fries last night. I had 12 minutes before my bus was to arrive thinking had sufficient amount of time to get food and make my bus which is a block away. It took 15minutes to make the chicken sandwhich and at that point they put the fries in the oven. Conceptually it makes sense to took the fries close to the end so they are hot but not at the very end so that it extends the time of preperation. I enjoy the food and it is close to my job so I will be returning but I will think twice when I’m constrained for time.

It was our first visit and it will be our last. Kids Mac and cheese was watery with globs of cheese, wheat buns on the burgers were awful. Carrot sticks and broccoli with dip and vanilla shakes were good but that was it.

B good. But not great. I B unimpressed, but also B unsurprised. Whenever I see a place whose specialty is burgers, with wood counters and a heavy sprinkling of «organic» and«grass-fed» all over its signage, I get suspicious. Because, for all its patriotic glory, a burger B, deep down, just a ground up piece of low-grade meat on bread. And my sense is the higher the profit margin B, the place will put décor over flavor and squeeze every cent they can get out of that little patty. B good pretty much fits that description. There B a lot of pretty tasty choices on the menu, but they mainly come down to the same decent meat sandwich. The bread is a pretty awful choice, though, it tastes like it’s that store-bought whole wheat bread, the kind that sticks to the roof of your mouth and has a flavor roughly similar to dish sponge. Clean dish sponge, but still. The fries B tasty, but I take offense at a burger that comes without fries. That’s like a horse without a carriage. Like love without marriage. Like the words«Be Good» without the«e». Unused puns: I won’t B back. B good? More like C– good.

Today was my first time eating at b.good. I gotta tell you the burgers tasted so bad, and I don’t know if I should call to complain or what. Bottom line is I am never going to any b. good again. Even thinking about what I tasted at b. good today ruins my day. The sad part is I waited too long until my burgers were ready. B. good you are on my garbage list.

Some of the front cashiers do not look like they want to there. I am still trying to get my bun toasted. I have asked several times. You would think this would be an easy an common request. I keep asking please make sure the bun is toasted to no avail it comes back soft. :(

Not quite sure whi checked in.12 mins ago saying it was dirty here and employees were standing around. Its very and its after the lunch rush. I looked at his photo to try and find him but he probably checked in as he was walking by. Putz! They do a great job here. The service can be slow between.12 and 1:30 but thats because they are busy.

When I’m craving a veggie burger, I get one here done West Side(avocado and salsa). The veggie burger is vegan again(they had eggs in it for a while — ugh). And the kale & grain bowls are great. Prices have crept up over the years, but for healthier fast food it’s a good deal. Veggie burger, baked fries and a drink cost $ 11 today(5÷1÷15).

I’ve been to b. good many time for lunch. The food is great for what it is-fast, casual, locally-sourced healthy food. However, each time they mess something up with my order. I’ve gotten the almond and ginger bowl a few times and asked for the dressing on the side. Each time I’ve been there the cashier has acknowledged what I said but when I get my food, the dressing it always mixed in. It’s really frustrating. I love the idea behind this place, but there’s a serious lack of attention to detail.

How long does it take to make a burger & warm up fries? Going in 10 minutes. And still waiting… #afterthought

It is like Life Alive, but they don’t make a big deal out of it. The avocado and lime kale/quinoa bowl is great.

Really yummy food. Will keep coming back. Personally love the turkey burger el guapo style. I’ve had both the«real fries» and sweet potato fries. Get the real fries. Food is kind of pricy, but as long as you stay away from the smoothies and get a small drink(there are free refills) it’s not too bad. The different types of custom lemonade are really cool. Favorite is the rosemary lemonade. The custom ketchup/mustard/mayonnaise is also really cool, only had the first two but they were both awesome, and they even have to-go cups for them! There is free wifi, but it’s password protected(last time was there it was realfoodrealfast).

Why did you do it B. Good? Why did you get rid of the special sauce! I almost turned around when the man taking my order said he had no idea what I was talking about… The special sauce was the only thing that had me here. I just wish I went to Uburger.
