A few of us came during the marathon weekend. I understand that they get busy, but we had horrible service. We waited at the bar and ordered our food while we got our table. Once we sat down the waitress came and took our order. We asked for water and it took a very long time. They brought a pitcher of water and we had to ask 2 different people for glasses. Apparently they were short on glasses and brought us plastic cups. We waited about 20 minutes or longer and turns out the waitress didn’t put one order in and the kitchen never got the another person’s order. I complained to the manager and he said he wouldn’t charge for the food that wasn’t placed on time. Will not be returning again.

Wow, I just had a really memorable evening at this Bertiucci’s, for all the wrong reasons ! There was a waitress named Juliana, I think, training a very nice new waitress named Tatiana. No one should be trained by Juliana. One of us ordered spaghetti with meat sauce, one soup and salad and also a chicken piccata to go, and the other two soup and salad. They missed soup and salad for the one who also ordered the chicken piccata, so we had to ask for that. Juliana claimed that she thought he had changed his mind, but they had had a whole conversation about bring in the chicken piccata out later, so that didn’t make any sense. The place was absolutely dead, but we waited forever for the salads, pasta, and calzone. They brought my friend spaghetti with meatballs, rather than spaghetti with meat sauce like he ordered. Juliana made no apology, she just offered to take the meatballs off the spaghetti. I had ordered a calzone, and I specifically said I did not want ricotta in it. So I cut into it and I see ricotta. All Juliana did was to ask me to see if I liked it. No, I don’t like ricotta so I won’t like it! She offered to have them make something else for me but I knew how long that would take so I just did not get anything . In conclusion, the food was wrong, and the service was slow, rude, and unapologetic.

The serve fresh baked breads for tables, and these breads are delicious and with a fantastic baking smell. The pizzas here are not really special. However, their seafood rice really is a thing.

Bertucci’s is always a place I can count on for… 1) getting a table 2) good service 3) great bread 4) great pasta 5) going with a group They always are able to split the check for me if its 3 – 4 people. They are always friendly and fast in getting your food to you. This is a place I’ve gone for lunch and dinner and I find that the food is very consistent. This is definitely a place I go for a moderate level italian food dinner. This is in no way a classy North End restaurant with traditional meals at expensive prices, but it is not an olive garden either. It is a nice place with great food for moderate cost.

I’ve never had anything other than pizza, rolls and some drinks at this location. For pizza, its pretty good. The recipe seems to have stayed the same over the past 10+ years. I recommend the Pucillo and the Bertucci. Their rolls aren’t the same. They seem lighter and less flavorful – more like Wonderbread than a nice hearty artisan roll. I used to go to the Bertucci’s in the Back Bay just to get rolls! These ones aren’t even close to the same quality. The drinks… Meh. While waiting for a pizza to go, its ok. But they don’t do a good job. Stick with beer(lol at only one on tap(Guinness)) or some wine. I did give them 4 stars, because I really do like their pizza and that’s all they are really good for.

I will say the bread is amazing. I go there and probably eat a months worth of carbs. We split a margarita pizza and it was just ok. Not horrible, but not great. Can’t say it’s better than the tons of other options in the area.

I am currently trying to purge my mind and digestive track of the memory of the pasta I had tonight. I am slightly nauseous, and I do not know how I am going to manage to sleep. I waited for dinner the entire night. I was excited to consume large quantities of carbs, so much so that I thought about it throughout the entire movie I watched shortly before going to Bertucci’s. I ordered the plain Fettuccine Alfredo around 10:00PM. Parts of it were clumped, and the pasta at the surface was hard and dry, like it had been sitting out for hours. The alfredo sauce hadn’t evenly permeated the pasta. The only things I know how to make are cereal and bagels, and I have made better pasta before for less than $ 4.00. Now I just feel like a gross ball of muck. The only reason I did not give this one star is because the waitress was nice. She looked tired, understandably; it was almost the end of her shift on a Saturday night.

We went there today for lunch. The service was so slow. Actually we waited for fifteen minutes to be seated. The food was good but not delicious. I don’t recommend it.

Bertucci’s… it’s a chain, you can’t expect much. I’ll say it up front. The best part of the dinner was the free bread and the seasoned olive oil they gave with it. My girlfriend and I came here for a late dinner at around 8 – 8:30PM. We ordered spinach and artichoke dip for the appetizer and I got the shrimp scampi and she had the jambalaya fettuccine for the entrees. The spinach and artichoke dip was okay. They had entire chunks of artichoke which was interesting. The angle hair pasta of shrimp scampi was not cooked well and were all clumped into a single massive lump. This meant that the sauce wasn’t even infused into most of the pasta. Very disappointing. The jambalaya was generally alright. Nothing to write home about. Overall, a pretty disappointing meal. Personally, I’d choose cheesecake factory over bertucci’s.

Bertucci’s is one of my all time favorite places to eat. I’ve had great service at different locations, but this one has been consistently friendly and attentive. The rolls are to die for and the pizza here is amazing. Great atmosphere especially on game days.

Fun place to grab a bite after a game. Our waitress recommended the moscato sangria, which was delicious– we ordered a half pitcher. I got the lobster cobb salad, which was very good. Rolls were delicious as well. Convenient location and good food.

I used to visit the Cambridge location that was unfortunately closed, but Bertucci’s has excellent fresh and hot dinner rolls and pizza.

I’m very satisfied with the experience my friends and I had here. The food was great and the atmosphere was very calming. However, I give the place four stars because our waitress wasn’t exactly the lost friendly and engaging. She also forgot to ask us if we wanted a salad or soup with one of the entrees and ended up never getting one. Maybe she was having a bad day, but I was hoping to get at least some small talk every once in a while. Regardless, I’m definitely going to come back! Our party of four split two entrees and a small pizza and it was the perfect amount of food for all of us.

My whole family likes Bertucci’s. Good Italian cooking at fair prices. This location is set up for big crowds coming through at Fenway or BU parents visiting, so if you go there at any other time, you’ll get seated quickly. We use this to our advantage. :) It’s the most convenient location for us, so as long as it’s not a game day,(which we’ve never tried) it works great.

This is my second time going to Bertucci’s. First time was good experience where I got the Margarita pizza — so good. This time, I got a Classic Bruschetta appetizer. My friends got their meals before I got my appetizer… what? The server brought my appetizer and said sorry that it was not brought out earlier. The bruschetta looked like it had been sitting there for a while. The balsamic vinegar had soaked the bread and the bread tasted disgustingly sour. I thought it was suppose to be delightfully added onto the bruschetta… not«lets make sure the bread is completely immersed in the oils.» On top of that, the waitress didn’t even ask us if we wanted to split the check. She split the check after we asked her but then accidentally switched my charge with my friend’s charge. So I was waiting for her to come out by the register and I explained to her that it was switched. She had a rude tone with me and said«Just a second» and went to another table. I know it’s frustrating and I didn’t mind waiting but I don’t think servers understand that choice of words can make a difference between a loyal customer vs. a customer who won’t come back… ever. All in all, food is mediocre at best, service was horrible, and $$ is too expensive to pay for«okay» food and rude service. If I do ever come back(probably not), the only thing I really liked was the Margarita Pizza.

FOOD Good Italian food for a cheap price. Menu is full of pasta, soups, salad, chicken and seafood. The pizza is definitely the best thing on the menu. I personally prefer the Verde, but in the end everything is good. I usually go for lunch they have a $ 7.99 lunch special that includes endless rolls and salad. The Margarita menucci is delicious! DRINKS The sangria is horrible but the margaritas are insanely strong. LOCATION great location right near the Kenmore T stop. For those heading to take baseball game bertuccis would be a great spot for a bite before or after the game.

Went to Bertucci’s tonight with my friends and had a relatively good experience. Not my first time here, and I’ve also been to the Bertucci’s near Children’s Hospital so I know my way around the menu ;) Food: I got the Chicken Piccata — deliciouso. Three huge chicken cutlet. I only ate one because I was full from stuffing my face with their bread. Had a salad also — it was ok — just regular salady stuff. Got Tiramisu for dessert. I guess I don’t like Tiramisu then. Never knew that. It was too sweet and too bitter at the same time. Frownysadness. My friends got: 1. the Alfredo, she wanted fried chicken with it. The waiter just said that he would«try» to get it for her. She was very happy when her plate had fried chicken! She commented that her dish was good and cheesy. 2. Two people got the Chicken Parm with the complementary sausage soup. They both said the soup was«good» but neither of them barely touch it. Chicken parm was yummy(I got a bite), nice tomato-y sauce. 3. Rigatoni Abruzzi — I’ve had it before, so good. I decided not to get it today because I’ve been tomato overloaded this week but it’s one of my favorite dish here. The sausage is slightly spicy and oh so addicting. they also shared desserts: Chocolate cake and the Warm Chocolate Chip Cookie with Gelato. As chocolate lovers they all devour that cake in seconds. The Cookie was also a favorite. Although the Gelato just taste like regular ice cream. But ice cream is great in general. Service: It was kind of slow at times. That being said the server was nice and try to give us good service so I’m not complaining. However as bread enthusiast we were getting impatient that it took nearly 15−20minutes for us to get our bread on. Bonus points however, he split our complicated check for us. Cheers. Overall we had a good time eating good food :)
