The sweet spot. Chill vibe. Decent beer. Lots to look at. Nice place to relax after leaving South Station. Will be back!

Dive bar. Golden Tea. Cheap Beers. Lots of bros in suits. You get the point so I won’t belabor it.

This is the true definition of a dive bar. Cheap(but good and strong) drinks, graffiti on the walls, and lots of fun patrons! The long island was the best I’ve ever had and the bartender was helping in explanation some good things to see and do in boston! They do accept credit cards which I was happily surprised to see!

Beer was fine. Bathrooms were not. Water and piss all over the floor. No paper towels. Door lock broken. Overflowing trash. The door opens in the wrong direction so you get smashed in the face when you walk up to it.

Searched bars in the Boston area and this was the first one that came up. Saw that it only had one dollar sign so that must have it was a reasonably priced bar. So made the decision to go here after our Sam Adams brewery tour and we were pleasantly suprised. The place isn’t state of the art where they are going to «wow» people with their décor but if you are looking for a good spot for some drinks, I definitely would recommend. The burgers are AMAZING!

For those that know the tale of real Biddy Early … the helpful herbalist«Witch» of County Clare — famous for helping strangers… well this is such a tale. I went to Biddy’s for my 1st time last night after a networking event. For a Wednesday, it was crushed with people from a Halloween party and everyone seemed friendly. I enjoyed the«tavern-like» wood beam décor and little details that make a pub like that warm. It played that old-school hip-hop, smelling of smiles and ale. Hearing that this was an excellent«industry bar», I trusted one of the Bartenders with making me a cocktail of his choosing(it was good). In a quick shuffle of events, my phone was stolen. Before you say — «WHOAAAA that’s crappy, I don’t wanna be in that crowd», bear with me. Naturally, my faith in the goodness of people was at an all-time low. However, This is a bar where 3 patrons let me use their phone to try and recover mine via Find My iPhone for an extended amount of time. And then… Sean the bartender saved my life. At 1:15AM, devastated from a lost phone and freaked about getting home, this angel paid for my Über home to Cambridge. I didn’t even ask him to do it. The moment I said«I don’t know how I’m getting home»… he whipped out his phone and asked my destination. No questions or hesitation. Not only that, but he personally called, walked with me outside, and made sure it was out front waiting for me in the middle of his bar being slammed. I was flustered, but he kept assuring me … «We got you» and they did. THAT my folks is more than good customer service. That was human kindness in action at a moment where I had never felt more violated, vulnerable, and numb. His actions grounded me and kept me from dissolving into tears over losing a year’s worth of pictures including my 30th Birthday and Family. A bar is more than its drinks, smells, and sticky table aesthetic. It is the people that give a place it’s soul. Sure — there was a bad apple that ruined my life for the moment of evil that possessed them to take something so personal; however, that pales to the warmth of knowing that there are still a few good strangers. In the spirit of the bar’s patron… Biddy Early… this a solid pub with a vein of hospitality that is getting rarer in this town. If you meet Sean the(I think) red-headed lad on a Wednesday… give him an extra tip and clap on the back, let him know that you heard of his good deed and pay it forward.

Went to biddy early’s on a Sunday for wings, before taking the bus to NYC at South Station. We got the BBQ and the PBR Sriracha wings. they were cheap and delicious! The Jukebox/playlist was also amazing playing 90’s R&B/Hip Hop which I loved Staff was very friendly, will definitely visit again!

This place is a complete dump and we loved it. Cheap and friendly. For a dive… it was actually pretty clean. Although I’ll admit I drank slowly and head out before I had to use the powder room. If you’re sick of spending too much in Boston and you’re open minded, go for it.

You honestly can’t go wrong with $ 2 PBRs and $ 6 shots. I can’t say I remember much of my experience here, but goddamn did they have amazing onion rings. The mozzarella sticks were pretty good too, though a bit cold. But hey, I’ll take it. Seriously though, get those onion rings and bask in the glory of a true dive bar. And help yourself to a game of darts while you’re at it.

Found this place on Unilocal after spending way to much $ at a bar right on the harbour. Great little dive bar with a super nice bartender, and a decent draft selection. Great place to stop for a drink if your wondering through town.

What can I say about this place that hasn’t been said in other reviews? This place is the quintessential dive bar in Downtown Boston. Located right in the Financial District you’re going to get a good mix of people here. From the blue collar union guys to the white collar«make more money than you» guys. But everyone drinks the best swill this place has to offer. $ 2PBR on tap is the go to at this place. Can’t get no divier than that(is that a word? Divier? It is now). The food here is great too. Burgers are always on point, the grilled chicken sandwich is always bangin, Buffalo fries are always a hit, and on Sundays you get the secret menu. PBR Sriracha wings? Yup! The guys who run this place and every bartender here is amazing. This place has become my Cheers. Everyone knows my name and I love that about this place. Love it when I can come in here and can get a beer placed in front of me after saying hi to all the bartenders and regulars. If you haven’t been here yet, come on down. If you see me here say what up and join me for a beer!

This place is Boston’s best-kept secret. Unbelievably cheap drinks, darts, and arcade golf? Sold. Because of how niche this bar is, it attracts cool people, too. Whenever I go, I find it easy to strike up conversation with people. The bathroom looks gross, I get it. Not a dealbreaker for me.

This is THE Boston dive bar. Located in the Financial district, close to public transit, it is easy for anyone in the city to get to. I’m a sucker for dive bars, and this reminds me of the places I used to go when in college(aka didn’t have any money). It’s not a place I’ll go every week, but if you are in the mood for a dive or just want a place to drink then this is it. A bucket of beer is probably the way to go here. It’s the best value, but mixed drinks are really not highly priced either. It is a quaint and cozy atmosphere, that can get a little packed at times. This isn’t a 5 star facility, but that’s not what you are looking for when you head to Biddy’s. For what it is, which is a place to drink and mingle with all walks of life for cheap, Biddy does a great job.

Love That Biddy This review could be skewed seeing that I went a couple of times on a Saturday afternoon. No suits were around, just a cool bartender serving cheap strong drinks and playing great sounds on the jukebox. Biddy’s is a dive bar in a super old building with a lot of charm. It looks kind of like an old German style building. Cheap booze, great company, old school charm. Tip: Go on the weekend in the afternoon and drink off a hangover. You’ll like this place. Thanks

I saw an extremely drunk, recent loser politician here once. He was aggressively playing the arcade games and was a bit frightening. I’m not going to let that spoil my impression, though. Small, often crowded, cheap drinks, dirty bathrooms. Good deals, chill crowd, decent bartenders, good time. All the makings of a dive bar with the addition of a few arcade games in the back and especially nice atmosphere. Minus the drunk politicians, of course.

Dive bar filled with people in suits. I don’t know what I expected for the financial district, but maybe loosen the ties… Or not yell about how important you are as one person was doing and almost knocked my drink over multiple times while telling his stories he needed to be very animated for. Someone was sitting at the bar eating a thanksgiving hot pocket. What? I think she worked there, or was at least friends with the staff. The staff were quick though, getting the one beer I got…

If you’re here on a Sunday for football, do not, I repeat do not miss their Sunday Specialty Menu, which contains the«PBR Sriracha Wings» — these little bundles of kickass are mos def in the conversation for«best wings in Boston». I’m hoping they’ll take note of that and start offering them up more often, but I know now where I’m watching my 1pm Pats games.
