Worst place ever !! The food the people is just crap ! If you can avoid then you should. I have never come across such rude staff where they blame you for being non attentive. Feels like they are doing a favor serving you food. It’s overpriced for the quantity and taste. Definitely avoid it !!

Maybe not gourmet but if you got a hankering for Indian food and quick it’ll get the job done. Wish the prices were a bit lower.

When I visited Boston in 2007 with my family, we made it a point to visit this place for some absolutely brilliant Paneer Kathi Rolls. YUM. Delicious.

I was very disappointed by this place and I had low expectations considering this is in a tourist trap. I found the food to not have much taste which is really unforgivable for Indian food(I had the tandoori and curry chicken, as well as some spiced veggies and chicken masala), the naan was very average and the prices are quite high. I got a dish to go with a naan and it was $ 12. If you have to eat in Quincy Market stick to Steve’s Greek food and Regina

Bombay Club: oh, how I both love and loathe thee. I took a recent lunch trip here after an unquenchable curry craving that lasted about a month. To dine here, you have to overcome the obvious obstacle of elbowing your way through the meandering tourist couple with 17 children trying to decide where to eat. The Bombay Club menu prices tend to catch your breath a bit, and you might wonder if you will find a gold coin buried in your jeera aloo.(I wasn’t so lucky.) As many others have said, this is Faneuil Hall, and Bombay Club is the only Indian food place around. The service was prompt, and the cashier guy was friendly. I ordered chicken korma(the tender chicken seemed to fall apart even before my fork threatened to spear it), which came with that gold coinless jeera aloo and basmati rice. It was all so delicious, though there was a total absence of nuts in my korma(I really look forward to the little guys). That alone isn’t enough to lower my rating; the price did that by itself at nearly $ 12 for a luncheon plate. Maybe I was really hungry or something, but I didn’t have enough left over to make it worth it to save for my next lunch. I can’t afford Bombay Club every time I get a craving, sadly, though it has inspired me to learn to cook Indian cuisine on my own. As a side note, cash only has turned into MasterCard or Visa also accepted — with a minimum $ 12 purchase, of course!

Ok, I visited this place because of the great reviews from Unilocalers. I did not get a chance to try the non vegetarian food, but the veggie food was just plain disappointing! :(:( The chana was average, as was d achari aloo. I have nothing to say about my rice except that it was grossly undercooked! We ordered a masala dosa, that was completely inedible. under cooked and soggily weird :(:(The accompanying coconut chutney was frozen and insipid! And the worst part, the person serving my food was unhelpful, seemed angry, kept glaring at me :(:(almost like he was MAD i turned up for food or something! All in all, for the price they charge for their combo, it was definitely NOT worth the money at all! Maybe their non vegetarian fare is better, but given my experience, I am not even remotely motivated to give it a try.

I’ve been coming here once a week because I can’t find anywhere else near me to get my Indian food fix. This place has café style Indian food, with lots of selections including different naan breads and sweet drinks. I’ve tried the Chicken Korma(creamy), Chicken Tikki Masala and Matta Paneer(cheese n peas). I like both chickens dishes, I’m used to a more richly flavored Tikki Masala, but this isn’t gourmet restaurant or anything. The Korma is a little creamer. But both chicken dishes had real tender chicken which is good. The matta paneer cheese was a little dried out, not too creamy either. The basmati rice and naan are okay, I definitely had better but I’ve also had worse. Overall the food is normally pretty good for this style of Indian«restaurant.» Prices are high, but the Quincy market is a touristy area, so its expected. The service could be better, its kind of a «okay what would you like, *plop-plop-plop*, okay thats $$$.» One time the dude was on the phone talking and taking my order at the same time. He did say sorry so thats okay I suppose. I’ll still come back, there’s not much Indian food in walking distance of Fanueil Hall. CASH only BTW.

It’s a food court. Does this even deserve a review? Fine. The food is ok. Hope that helps.

If you like indian food you’ll love Bombay Club. I had lunch at the Quincy market recently and could not resist Bombay Club’s Chicken Korma; Definitely my favorite dish.

I was craving Indian food so I trekked over here during work, expecting to be ripped off. Quincy Market is undeniably notorious for bad food: price ratios, but for 8 dollars here you get an entrée(they have all the normal stuff), a ton of rice *and* a salad or lentil soup. That’s tons better than Au Bön Pain $ 7 sandwiches, which is where I normally go. Also, I would say it is the rare person who would completely consume this entire meal, hence it becomes two meals for the reasonable cost of $ 4 each! Plus the food is delicious Indian food, which I see some other reviewers thought was sub-par, but seriously, how much can you screw up curry? I am delighted, and I will be back!

Just had dinner here and had a pretty good meal! Much better than Tanjore last night, and this wasn’t even the real Bombay Club — I wonder how much more fun that would be! The people behind the counter were very helpful and nice. The food was good. And the quantities were just right! Yay — I’m a fan!

There is nothing more funky or atrocious than a foreign object cleverly lodged somewhere in your food. GROSS. For lunch today, I moseyed across the way to Quincy Market to get some tikka masala from the Bombay Club. Now, food in Quincy Market never sits well with me anyway(I blame excess grease) but it’s a rainy day here in Boston and I am wearing flip flops. Ergo, I did not want to go far. So, I come back to my desk with my meal, and start discovering all sorts of things that do not belong in tikka masala, like t-rex bones. I mean, this was a chicken bone, but it was enormous. Or, it was a piece of plastic. Either way, it was sharp, pointy and stealthily hiding amidst my basmati rice. THEN, I come to find a LARGE piece of string. Huge. Disgusting. I was so grossed out(and not to mention paranoid thinking I had ingested something else that I wasn’t lucky enough to unearth) that I had to throw out my $ 8 lunch. Argh! Think of all the horrible things that could have befallen me — choking, some sort of food poisoning, immeasurable mental trauma. The list goes on. And, word to the wise, I’ve been told by others that this has happened to them at the same place. Do yourself a favor, and DONOTGO.

Darned if I didn’t spend $ 2.00 for naan here that was spongey, lukewarm, and tasteless. My saag paneer was fresh from the oven, so it was delicious, but the naan was enough to leave a literal bad taste in my mouth. Next time I’m going to Gourmet India in the Pru for lunch.

Not a real fan of this place. It is really the only place in teh Fanueil Hall area for Indian and, unfortunately, it is not that great. It seems like a lot of the food sits out way too long. I suppose that is fine for lunch, but, when I am usually here in the evening, the food looks real gross. The naan is not bad, but everything is rather overpriced. Not recommended.

Worst dosa I’ve had, so yes, I was disappointed on my first visit to Bombay Club in Faneuil Hall. But I’ll probably be back anyway, since I crave Indian food on a weekly basis. On the plus side, the staff was friendly and attentive enough that they tried twice to make my food, without me even having to ask. A for effort, C– for taste.
