We hired a newborn care specialist(non-RN) for three days while visiting town. The care was okay(not exceptional, but fine). But after the fact, they said we needed to pay for the baby nurse’s parking at our hotel: she had used valet parking and wanted reimbursement of $ 30 a day. We pointed out that this was not in the terms of the contract. The response from the company was that it would be deducted from the nurse’s paycheck. Why would the company pit its clients against its employees?
