Boston LX Limo

One star ONLY for the driver, Spiros, who remained cheerful, helpful, and patient throughout our journey.
This limo was booked for a trip to Provincetown. There were five people, three pickups.
My husband and I were the first to be picked up. It was a white, older vehicle. Spiros helped us load our luggage in the trunk. It was a 90 degree day, and when we got in, the AC seemed to be blowing hot air. I thought maybe the car had just started and it was older, so it would get cooler. It didn’t. The radio was working at this point, and Spiros had loaded the coolers with ice so we could have champagne on the way.
The second pick-​up was my brother and his girlfriend. It was uneventful. The limo grew increasingly hot as we drove, and the AC didn’t seem to be working at all.
For the third pickup, we gave the address, clearly, several times. After entering it into the GPS, Spiros drove to the wrong location, despite our insistence that it was the wrong one. He then argued with us for a few minutes before entering the correct address in the GPS and getting us there a little later than anticipated.
After the third pick-​up, it was clear that the AC was broken. The electrical system seemed to be in disrepair as well, because the radio stopped working completely. We made a stop at a liquor store and then we were on our way.
It was a Saturday during high season for the Cape, so we did hit some traffic. I think the drive was about 3 – 4 hours. 90 + degrees, in traffic, with no AC. It was brutal. We started noticing that the interior was dilapidated — plastic pieces near the door falling off, upholstery and the detailing around the vanity mirrors peeling, and of course no electronics were functioning at all. Finally, we asked that the driver just shut off the AC and roll down the windows, and we sweated it out until we could reach a rest stop for some water.
We hit the rest stop and bought some much-​needed cold water, then proceeded on to Provincetown. We stopped off at the vacation house first. At this point the driver said he was expected back around Boston by 6:30. This limo had been booked until 7. He had to call his supervisor to clarify that he wouldn’t be back in time.
We had planned on a grocery trip, so we did that. Finally Spiros went on his way. He returned maybe 30 – 45 minutes later because he had forgotten to give us his card. Not sure if this was factored into the $ 250 late fee that was later assessed.
Spiros was the only good thing about this trip. Otherwise, it was an enormous waste of $ 1000+ dollars to ride in an old, falling-​apart limo.
None of us would use this service again, and we will be telling everyone we know not to as well. Zero stars for the company and the condition of the vehicle.

If you are planning a corporate event or any event for that matter, do NOT use this company. They were supposed to pick us up at 4:15pm and showed up 1-​hour late. When I called them to ask where the driver was, they gave me the incorrect name and number for the driver. I called many times, with no answer. 50 colleagues were waiting for the bus to attend our event that began at 5pm. I called back again and they told me the bus driver’s name was something different than they previously told me and finally gave me the correct number. After calling the bus driver, he was still no where to be found. He told us he was near a certain landmark and could not get to our address, so we walked ½ mile to HIM and he was still not at the location he said he was. We waited outside for another 20 minutes when he FINALLY arrived an hour late. There was no apology. The driver then did not know how to get to the destination (even though an address to our event was provided 2 weeks ago), took multiple wrong turns, leading us to bumper to bumper traffic on 93, when he could have taken back roads and getting us to our event (that we had already paid for) 1 hour and 15 minutes late. When I called to notify the manager/​owner, there was very little sympathy and the best they could do was offer a 25% off discount. He then said that if 25% was not enough, that I would receive NO discount. He was unprofessional, lacking customer service and completely unapologetic to the terrible circumstances. This transportation company ruined our evening, made us late to our event and I highly recommend that NO ONE in the city of Boston uses them. We will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and will not be using this company again. Our company hosts multiple events per year and have never seen such terrible transportation service before.
