Boston Private

Boston Private bought the bank I have been doing business with for over 20 years (Borel Bank and Trust) and I have not seen the great service that has been the mainstay of Borel carried over to Boston Private. I noticed an immediate culture change when they took over as many of the employees of the West Coast branches have quit or were fired. I realize that since I live in Texas i can’t experience the face to face but it got much less efficient doing business with Boston Private. I really wish I could give them a stellar rating but they have not earned my vote of confidence.
I do think if you have a butler and maid, Boston would be the bank for you. But for us regular folks, they do not seem to give us the same attention. I think the bank staff would have to admit this. As compared to USAA bank which I have been a member for 13 years, Boston Private is not in the same league as far as service and accessibility. I will be leaving Boston Private Bank ASAP. and the sad part is that they could care less. I am just not rich enough for their business model.

This is about as good as business and personal banking gets in terms of customer service. Branch staff know your name, have an interest in making banking easier, and are quick to offer solutions. Anyone with a growing business would find Boston Private a real pleasure to work with.

Boston Private Bank had by far the lowest interests rates no hidden fees and was great in doing business with and getting my mortgage.
