I finally had the opportunity to eat at Clover today(BU location)! Everyone is always talking about the Chickpea Fritter, so I had to try it… and I’m glad I did. At first, the sandwich looked like it wouldn’t be much food, but as I began eating it, I realized how wrong I was. For only $ 6, you get a very STUFFED pita! The flavors all work well together to create a delicious lunch-time option. I agree with one of the other reviewers: If you will not be eating it right away, specify«to-go» so that they will package it up. The Chickpea Fritter is quite messy, so make sure you have plenty of napkins/paper plates around when you eat it. I also recommend having a fork handy. I also heard that the fries were very good, but unfortunately, they were out of them, which I don’t understand because I went at 12:00. But, I’m glad they were out of them, because if I had ordered fries with my fritter, I would have been disgustingly full! Hopefully they’ll start accepting Level Up soon. Either way, I plan on ordering more yummy food from them again soon!

This truck moved down the street and now has fewer stops there as well — so annoying — I should take off points for switching locations. I’m just sad there isn’t a truck closer to my work anymore. Everything is fresh and made to order. My go to is the egg and eggplant which is a hardboiled local egg, piece of roasted eggplant, hummus, tomatoes. I also love their chickpea fritter. The one time I tried something different was the bbq seitan which I hated — the texture really got me. They have a small menu of maybe 4 – 5 sandwiches plus a seasonal sandwich. I should really try something else but I’m nothing of not a creature of habit. The rosemary fries are also one of my favorites. They have a special hot or cold drink that changes daily such as lavender lemonade, infused agua frescas, and cinnamon lemonade. They have a couple of local pour over coffees which have all been excellent — I barely ever take my coffee black but I do here. Service is alway super friendly. And they take credit cards! Clover please come back to the bridge!

I’ve walked by Clover’s trucks so many times, but never felt like trying it. I’m not sure why, since I always saw people walking by me with delicious looking grub… anyway, I finally stepped up to the plate today and tried the Chickpea Fritter. Sooo gooood. The pita is chewy and hearty, unlike the thin and measly ones that make me sad. They load it up with tons of red cabbage, hummus, tahini(at least that’s what I tasted), and Clover style falafel balls. All this goodness kept me full from lunch to dinner!

Pretty good food. The service is a little slow. I mean, I know it’s a food truck… but 10 minutes for fries is a long time. I think the rosemary fries are actually underseasoned and could use more rosemary… but they’re really good. I like how they add shredded cabbage to the falafel sandwich to give it extra crunch… but what’s up with calling it a «chickpea fritter?» You can use the real name, I don’t think Boston residents are afraid of ethnic food with exotic sounding names.

I always come to this place when I want a quick filling meal that doesn’t make me feel gross afterwards. I always get the Chickpea Fritter and I probably always will because it is so dang delicious! The last time I was there, they gave me some of their rutabaga soup because it was cold outside and they didn’t have quite enough to sell. It was a nice gesture and definitely one of the reasons I go there once in a while! Their rosemary fries are amazing as well. And it is soooo worth the $ 5.

Yes it’s vegetarian, but try it, you will like it. They have some great sandwiches for $ 5 and this is a fantastic addition to the food wasteland that is BU. This is very important, if you need your food to go, make sure you tell them that when you order! Otherwise you’ll end up with this half-wrapped sandwich that’s designed to be eaten right now this second and you’ll be walking back to work or class staring at this lovely sandwich the whole time and afraid that it’s going to spill: I strongly recommend the Egg & Eggplant, lovely buttery soft eggplant, sliced hard-boiled egg, covered in an amazing cucumber & tomato salad thing. Just amazing and quite filling. The chickpea fritter sandwich is my second favourite sandwich, followed by the turnip & cheddar sandwich. The BBQ soy/tempeh sandwiches are surprisingly flavourful, had some lovely tempeh(usually tempeh tastes like poo, but not here) with lettuce & tomatoes but it was also surprisingly unfilling for and this growing boy hungry again in a few hours. If you are hungry, and and are not a small child I would suggest trying any of the 3 sandwiches I mentioned above. I haven’t tried the fries but they look and smell great, and the fresh cup made coffee is good also.

I’ve been wanting to check out Clover for a long time, and now that there’s a truck parked at BU11 – 3 on weekdays, I finally went! The food is fast, convenient and tasty. Not much more you can ask for.
