Got a delivery. The Oreo milkshake was PERFECT! Unfortunately it’s the only good thing I can say. The regular turkey sandwich was some kind of nasty lunch meat and very bland. Maybe the Paninis are better. Stay away from the cold sandwiches. Order the milkshakes

Great price! and their code 4 bbq pulled pork is my ‘go to’ recommendation. Cozy place and they are open everyday of the week.

Skip flour bakery. Not only is code 10 cheaper, it’s way more delicious. Came in in a pinch and asked the guy at the counter for a recommendation. He said the code 10 sandwich, which I am currently devouring. Unbelievable quality for a good price in no time at all, plus their employees are super cool to talk to. Roll in around 8 and treat yourself right.

Great local place if you are looking for a quick bite! I got the code 5 with turkey and mayo and it was tasty, however it was a little on the small side for a $ 8 sandwich! The ingredients were fresh though and I will be back!

All you gotta know about Code 10 is that they serve Richardson’s ice cream. I don’t come here for anything else but Richardson’s ice cream is amazing. The green monster is a personal favorite of mine(mint with oreos) and the small is nicely priced at $ 3.75 and it’s soo big. Way better ice cream than JP Lick’s and I’m so glad I discovered Code 10 serves Richardson’s!

I like the salads at Code 10 a lot — they make them all fresh to order!

What a racket! I was so excited. I had eaten here before and loved the panini I had from there. I figured I’d get delivery. It is only 8 minutes from my house so even with a panini it should be fine. I ordered from Grubhub and they quoted me 50 minutes. I waited and 70 minutes when by. No call. I called them. ‘Oh the delivery guy got lost. He will be there in two minutes. His GPS broke.’ I waited. Then I got a call saying ‘I’m here with your food.’(I left detailed directions that I was at xxA not xx, last door and to ring #_) I said I’d be right out. But no one was there. Tried calling Code 10 but no answer. I get a call again ‘I am here, come down’ then argued with me about where I lived. he was down the street. Didn’t even look at the address. I even topped 20% since the weather was rainy. I’d been tricked!

The cashier overcharged me and when I asked why he told me they just hadn’t updated their board. He also told me they no longer included chips with their meals, which was again an up sell. Disappointing experience okay sandwiches.

Ordered the chicken, broccoli, and Alfredo sauce on line and it’s definitely worth the $ 10.00 – the chicken was plentiful, rich, and flavorful. My friend ordered and garden burger and was most impressed. The order went seamlessly on line and was ready for pickup – I’ll definitely be ordering from C10 again(BTW: «Code 10» is the Boston police dispatch code for lunch/dinner break)!

Ordered dinner from here on Tuesday. I got the Da Chicken Code Sandwich on Rosemary Foccacia. The sandwich was large and had a lot of interesting ingredients, like walnuts and cranberries. It felt like eating a yummy chicken salad except in sandwich form. I’m glad that it wasn’t very greasy.

In my opinion, Code 10 is extremely under appreciated. I can’t tell you how many times I visited for their sandwiches and frozen yogurt during the 2 years I lived in Boston. My favorite sandwiches are the Florentine(chicken with red peppers, mozzarella, and pesto) and the Eggplant(eggplant, mozzarella, red peppers, onions, and pesto). Meanwhile, my favorite frozen yogurt flavor is Purple Cow, which is black raspberry with white and dark chocolate chips. SO amazing.

I order from Code 10 at LEAST once a week it feels. Living downtown there are few places that are cheap and delicious for a quick meal when I don’t feel like cooking! They have a low delivery minimum which is nice when ordering for one. The Chicken Salad sandwich toasted is my go too meal. Soooo delicious. Not yucky like some chicken salad sandwhiches full of mayo. I think it’s well balanced. Perfect size servings, and with some soup on the side. The one thing Is I do wish they carried fries or sweet potatoes or somethingggg other than basic lay chips as a side. I’ve tried the potato salad it’s definitely yummy. Coleslaw not so much. I don’t think the tomato soup is homemade it’s nothing fancy but yummy Regardless. The purple cow frozen yogurt is soooooo good. Especially for those sweet cravings. I regularly order that as well. Tried the milkshake for the first time and have to saw they haven’t disappointed yet! My meal is always delivered within the hour sooner than expected delivery time, they have always been super nice and professional. Love this place!

I like Code 10 because it fills an essential niche in the neighborhood. Sometimes you want a really quick and simple meal, like a chicken sandwich and a smoothie. Code 10’s got that for you. And they do a just fine job at it too. Understand that you’re not going to get fancy ingredients like at Blunch or Flour, which are both superb sandwich shops, but you’ll be in and out quicker with a solid sandwich in your hands and a lot more change in your pocket. I don’t get some of these reviews commenting about rude staff. The older man who is always working behind the counter has been nothing but kind to me. So thanks, Code 10, for being part of the neighborhood and making yummy food. Keep doing what you’re doing.

We ordered after seeing it on grub hub and the food was very disappointing and made with low quality meats similar to low grade pre packaged deli style. They got here quickly though, so that’s one good thing.

I want to give a quick review for the service. I needed to send a cheer-you-up treat to a friend of mine in Boston. I live in NY and decided to see if there was anything better than a pizza that could be delivered. Thanks to Unilocal I found Code 10, who not only had several delicious looking items on their dessert menu and could be ordered directly though Unilocal, but their service was great! I needed to change the name on the delivery, I called and that was no problem. Then, I realized I made a mistake. As the delivery man, Jose, called to tell us he was at the door, my friend revealed he was at another address! Thank goodness Jose was a friendly guy and he drove a mile down the road to the right place. I can’t speak for the food, but I can say the treats did seem to cheer him up! Thank you Code 10!

I have worked in the South End for about 3 years and have only visited this place twice, for a reason! The staff arent that great. There is an older man, probally the owner, who is nice enough but I think he only hires family because the other staff are rude and very unwelcoming. I once called in an order and the young girl who worked at the ice cream bar answered and just said«yes» and it took me back a moment and when I asked if this was Code 10, because I assumed that no eatery would answer a phone like that, she never answered the question and just said«what do you want». The only reason it has 2 stars from me is because its cheaper than Flour and I only go there when money is tight and cant afford Flour.

Being a starving student looking for a good pick-me-up sandwich… I would say this place is just okay… I’ve come here twice now and both times, by the time I brought my sandwich back to the library(maayyyybeee a 5 – 10 minute walk), the sandwich was already not very warm and the bread soggy. Taking bites into my sandwich(a Code 5 turkey + swiss + carmelized onion). I just felt like the quality of the sandwich wasn’t that great, and the ingredients just didn’t taste that great. Although the prices for these sandwiches are more reasonable than competing sandwich shops nearby, I think I’ll be going to Flour & Blunch more often now :/

I am new to South Boston so I am trying everything around BUMC. I checked there online menu and they had Reuben on it. I am a sucker for a Reuben sandwich and so far around Boston area the best Reuben I had was the 2nd Street Café in Cambridge. Anyway, I tried a Reuben sandwich at code 10, it was pretty good and flavorful. So, Yay! I’m a fan. The only criticism is it was smaller than expected.

Eggplant parm, garlic bread and a small salad for $ 9! Simply delicious and fulling for the cost. I’ve also had an Aegean wrap, a new addition, the ingredients were good but had too much vinaigrette. The wrap may have been too much for me(large portion) but I enjoyed it overall.
