This place must have changed ownership. I have never experienced such bad customer service. I stood there and was never greeted. I finally asked if I could order something. then felt as if I was bothering them. The server made my salad and piled everything on top. I asked if he could mix it together and he seemed annoyed. It’s too bad. I used to come here all the time. Don’t think I will be back.

I am done coming here. I had to walk from South Station due to some train issues, so I had to walk by this location on the way to my office in the morning, so I figured I would grab my morning bagel here. The way the staff responded to serving people is appalling at this point. Almost eye rolls, sighs, anything but lively staff and slow as ever service when they are not busy at all. For the«morning rush» that happens at all other places, there was not one here, and still took forever for a plain bagel, toasted with butter. The«Chefs» or whoever they are who seem to be in charge openly discussing staffing problems is a huge turn off. Talking about vacationing scheduling problems and being understaffed out in public is just not professional(we can tell you are under staffed by the way service is, but your guests should not hear about the issues you are having internally). I will not be coming back to this location any time soon. This place needs some serious help.

Great place to grab lunch. I always get the Shanghai Chicken salad. The flat bread here is crack. Be careful. Calories on the wheat is not that bad though. During lunch, the line moves pretty quickly. There is a separate line for salad, sandwich and soups. Get a cosi card! Buy 9 get 1 free!

I have visited this Cosi twice now. The first trip, a coworker and I both ordered the turkey avocado sandwich. They began preparing the sandwiches and we get down to the end of the line when they inform us they’re out of arugula, asking if lettuce is OK. We agree, although the arugula was a big draw to me ordering that particular item. The next trip, I ordered the cobb salad. Again, it wasn’t until they were handing my salad across the counter that I have to ask why they didn’t put in any egg or scallions — apparently they were out of those items as well. The food is good and tastes fresh, but if you’re not going to offer all of the ingredients listed under an item, make it known to the person before you begin preparing their food. Put up a sign saying you’re out of something, or tell me when I order a cobb salad(which is defined by having eggs) that you’re out of egg. Not that difficult, and gives the customer the chance to potentially change their mind.

I’m a fan of the squagel breakfast sandwiches. They’re only like $ 3.50 or something like that.

I would eat here everyday if I had $ 8 everyday for a salad. Sadly, I don’t — oh, and I don’t work on Milk St any more, but if I DID, there would be a seat here with an imprint of my you-know-what. The cobb salad is delicious, and as someone else mentioned, having the dressing already in there means it is evenly distributed. Also, unlike other places, they get the dressing to salad ratio right — the salad is not swimming in dressing. And the REALLY good part? The bread? Oh Cosi, you have me hooked with the bread. Hooked! The only reason I didn’t go with five stars is because we couldn’t order soup from the salad line, but I understand the need to keep things moving on your end(however, we wanted to use one gift card for order and wanted soup AND salads).

There is so much that is wrong with this place that I don’t know where to start. First off ordering your food is an absolute NIGHTMARE. The have two separate que’s that confuse the heck out of almost every customer. One que is for soup, the other is for salads and sandwiches. The staff there always rushes the customer and doesn’t educate them on what the company serves. They just say«Can I help you?», while I’m screaming out my sandwich order the lady is telling me it’s the soup line. You can’t win here. Next complaint I have is the chicken-it’s god awful. Why, when you have such an interesting concept for flatbread sandwiches, would a corporation chince out and use cheap chicken? I don’t know, but let me tell ya something-it’s not appetizing. The chicken almost taste like it’s the already made/sliced Purdue chicken you buy in the supermarkets. Another problem I have, is with the way they make their pizza. Why in the world-if your establishment has such a big oven on display-would you result to using a conveyer toaster oven to make pizza? I have no clue, but it taste sub par especially with the Sysco/Purdue already sliced chicken on it. Another con is that you have to wait about 5 minutes for the sandwich to be made, which ends up coming out mediocre and tasting like a frozen Stouffers flatbread. My last complaint is the complete lack of communication and disorganization amongst the staff at Cosi. Everyone there gives off the impression that they are confused and that they don’t know what they are doing. This company needs to work on the quality of their output as well as their systems. It’s a mess.

The sandwiches are very good here. The bread is fantastic. The grilled chicken TBM(tomato, basil, mozzarella) is my favorite. You also get baby carrots or a small bag of kettle chips with your sandwich. They have a rewards card too where you can earn a free sandwich after buying 10.

I don’t find there to be anything remarkable about cosi. They are very much a fast food lunch chain. I had a salad, which was decent, but nothing special. Everything definitely is priced appropriately. I won’t be going back though, given all of the better options in the area.

After my first week working near Post Office Sq. I needed to bring some sanity back to my eating and get something healthy. Went to Cosi to look for a good plain turkey/grilled chicken sandwich. Got the turkey this time and was very pleased. Enough food but not too much. Bread was suuuuper good! The calorie counts on the menu are great as well. I’ll definitely be going back here again.

Cosi cosi cosi… I can appreciate their fast service and made to order salads. I think I’ve gotten a sandwich once or twice but salads are my go to here. I think the cobb with balsamic dressing is my favorite. It’s a basic no frills kind of lunch spot– I typically go here when I’m short on time during my break.

The only place I have had tomato soup and loved it… The salads are great and I do like the seasonal turkey cranberry sandwich a lot. like the idea of getting the carrots or the chips as a side. the run it very smooth and know exactly what they are doing. very very quick turn around on your order. the staff is wicked friendly and can always see when someone is lost or confused which can happen easy as people are moving so fast sometimes you might not know where to go. all in all. good food, quick service. good job !

I love Cosis. I love Cosis chicken caesar salad paired with the deadly salty(but in the best way) flatbread. I like the generally nice staff. If Cosis wasn’t so packed during lunch time, I might go more often. It’s a consistently good spot.

this place knows what it means to be on a lunch break. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. There was what appeared to be a line, but they have such an efficient way of taking your order that you aren’t waiting at all. Food is delicious– its a more delicious and healthier panera, in my opinion. Also– the staff are very pleasant and smiled the whole time.

This place is a must! Especially if you work in financial district and want to grab lunch. It never fails me. I would recommend visiting the café after the noontime rush of business people. I usually eat lunch at 1 and there’s barely any wait. I try to eat light for lunch to save me from falling asleep at the desk but it’s so hard to do when they serve big and yummy salads !! I think I’ve tried at least 3 of their salad options already. By the look of their names, they sound like your typical salad options but they’ve really mixed things up for you. They add more then just your typical ingredients and offer unique dressings for your lunch. I had the Smart fit salad today which consisted of kale, romaine, roasted corn, avocado, carrots and red peppers. by the way, did I mention they MIXINTHEDRESSING for you? I love it! because I hate trying to evenly mix my dressing in without half of my salad falling out. Really good healthy option here folks! The only downfall is the ordering process, its confusing as heck especially if you’re in a rush but really they try to separate their menu out to «avoid» long lines. The other recommendation is the already prepared Peach Bellini! AMAZING, its more then enough for one sitting, light and not tart. Pricing for everything runs about $ 7-$ 8 dollars.

I was a little confused by the layout of this location though the staff was super friendly and kind of helped point me in the right direction. I still found myself standing around a few times wondering what to do. As always, the Cosi bread is fantastic and I may sneak in here just to have some bread samples next time. I got the flat bread pizza. It was nice to watch them actually make it right in front of me and it came out crispy and it tasted pretty fresh. Is it a little over priced? Maybe, but not terrible. Overall, I would go back here in the future.

Bad costumer service. I ordered a pizza. It tasted weird. I started to get worried. It tasted like the cheese was spoiled. I told the worker who then smelled the cheese they had been using and sure enough. It didn’t smell normal! OK, no problem. I understand this stuff happens… but then I didn’t want another pizza. I wanted a salad. They tried to charge me for it. Um, WHAT? I was just given a moldy pizza, I think you should give me something free so that I even consider coming back again and don’t go hungry since I had to throw the pizza away. I told them I didn’t think I should have to pay for it and finally they said it was fine. But I should not have had to fight for that.

On the recommendation of our banker we snuck in Cosi for a quick lunch. It was not particularly busy, but I could see how that place could quickly become a cluster f* with their multiple line nonsense. I mean what if I am ordering a salad and a sandwich? Do I just stand in a confused line-purgatory? Once I found my path I decided I wanted a hybrid of the Pesto Chicken Melt and the T.B.M. Melt. It sounded easy in my head, but when I asked if I could add tomato and basil to the Pesto Chicken Melt, I got a nod & eye roll combo. Can’t say that I loved that or the price for the sandwich, but I admit it was tasty. The flatbread was definitely the star and the sun-dreid tomato spread was full of flavor. Cosi is worth a try, but you can definitely find more bang for your buck DT.
