If you get on the guest list this place is decent. No way I would come here if I had to pay the full cover. Pros: Spacious, cool lighting, clean bathrooms for a club, decent music Cons: Expensive cover, Meh crowd, expensive drinks I’m originally from Miami though so my standards for clubs are pretty high.

Great place! Line: 5 stars! They let us girls in first since it was so cold and the guys had a table Music: A+ I was shaking my butt all night, droppin it slow, picking it slow like no other and that’s a sure-tell sign of good music. None of that pump your fists and jump up and down BS. Drinks: Could have been a little stronger! Coming from someone like me that says A LOT. A LOT. haha I’m not huge on drinking and I am also bad at it, meaning it doesn’t take much, but come on people! Bathrooms: Clean! Nice friendly ladies and nice security guards too while I’m at it. Bartenders: Amazing! She bought me a shot! I tipped her 200%! She wins! hahaha

If you are interested in good music, and a good looking crow then Cure is the place to go. It’s very very tiny so be aware that you wont be able to move around too much. Since it’s so tiny getting to the ONE bar they have tends to be a pain. They have coat checks. The girl’s bathroom tends to get cramped up at times due to the high volume of girls wanting to take selfies in «brighter» lighting, but what club doesn’t? The music is always on point and its always one of my first options because the crow tends to be better looking than must places around downtown… Shallow uh!!!

This club is at its best on Sunday. The crowd generally shows up around midnight. The music is top 40 hip hop, and the drinks are yours average downtown club not worth it price but if you’re nice to the bartenders they’ll give make it a bit stronger. The dress code, at least for Sunday’s, is still strict for guys but not girls. Sometimes the music gets techno and that kind of brings down the mood. Also sometimes the girls that give the tickets at the entrance are super rude and the bouncers try to hard to be extra macho with some of the guys. Like we get it, you have muscles. Great place to go with friends. There’s also enough space that you won’t be groped and if you are the bouncers are quick to intervene, so yes the muscles come in handy.

It was alright. The atmosphere was good. Decent music. A lot of people, dance areas but also have tables and benches so you could sit and take a minute. My only complaint was the prices. it was 25 dollars each to get in and then the drinks were very expensive too. I would go back but only if i got a table. buying drinks and paying cover just does not make sense.

‘Anthony’ at the door, was a friendly familiar face who reassured my group on the way in that Rumor’s WednesdayLatinNight had been transferred to Cure. Sceptical about going here to begin with, I was glad to see ‘Anthony’ because he always seems to be the bouncer at the best events. We got settled in on the dance floor with drinks from the bar and were impressed by all the good moods. There was an epic drag show featuring ‘Penny’ who is always most entertaining. Cure’s staff was very on top of making sure everyone was in a clean place, safely. Bussers clearing tables in a flash/security making sure everyone was having a good time safely. My fav piece of décor is their huge mirror hanging by the stairs, before you hit the bathrooms. It was a great touch to a main area in the club. Cheers to Cure!

We bought tickets for an event hosted at Cure. But when we got there, the lady at the entrance told us we had to pay an additional $ 15 and when we tried to ask for more details, she’d only say«Those are my instructions».We asked we could talk to the organizers — they didn’t have the number. They wouldn’t let one of us go down and find the organizer either. On top of that, the security guard kept coming up to us and shouting that if we weren’t paying, we had to step outside. In the freezing cold. Honestly, they’re to make people pay up through chaos and confusion, which we certainly didn’t appreciate. It took us 20 minutes of arguing and escalating the issue to the Cure manager to finally get in. The music was great, but getting in was a nightmare.

I just had my friend’s bday there. They said they would give us a table with free chamlagne and everyone comped. But when we got there they told us only 4 ppl could get in free(don’t believe what they tell you) so we got the table… and no one was our server. They told us we had to open the champagne ourselves and pour it ourselves. That was ok but we look at the glasses and they had lipstick marks on them. Gross. The manager replaces the glasses but that’s all. No sorry or free drink or anything. then, some guy comes up to us and says to the server girl near by «oh they’re done with the champagne tell them to leave so w we can make more money» they tell us to leave the table so they can make more money at the table… and they never once asked us if we wanted a drink or bottle the whole time we were there at the table… ever…worst club ive ever been to

I’m writing this comment based on Wednesday nights, I’ve came couple of times with some friends, but the experience on a gay night is no so good! Same people, same dramas, ghettos people and a lot more to say about It.(A really bad experience last time I went) not sure when I will be back. Drinks are overpriced, but Michael(the bartender) is very friendly.

Walked in just after midnight off the street after leaving The Tam just up the road. Loved this place. Very friendly locals made us very welcome. It was gay Latino night.

The Boston club scene is hit or miss to say the least. If you’re not 21, wearing a bandage dress(ladies) or a fan of gropey strangers, you may be in for a disappointment in your quest to carefree-ly dance the night away. Nestled in the Theater District among several other high profile and high cover clubs(Royale, Bijou, Tunnel and Emerald are all literally on the same block), I recently went to Cure twice to see what it had to offer and was pleasantly surprised both times. The interior is the perfect size: smaller than a mega-club like Royale, but with a large dance floor and plenty of good service behind the bar. VIP area is slightly out of the way, so if you have a table to can watch the dance floor but they’re not on top of you. Décor is upscale trendy without being tacky or cheesy. Service: Very nice! The bartenders are attentive and friendly, however in my experience their mixed drinks were weak, and at $ 12/each, I’d recommend sticking to shots so you can see where you’re money’s being poured. Cover is $ 25, OR you can sign up on the list(Eventbrite page on their website) and be free before 11:30(ladies) or $ 15 reduced admission(gentlemen), on Saturdays at least. Crowd & Music: Ahh, the most important part and arguably why you’re even reading this review. Both of my visits were on Saturday night and the crowd was as follows: 60%/40% women to men, slightly older(27 would be median age, with more older guys than older women), lots of bachelorette/birthday parties of girls and slightly foreign clientele. Not as many Jersey Shore style bros as one would expect at a club(yay!). The music was good both times, with the DJ playing top hits, a few throwbacks and a lot of Pitbull for some reason(I’m not complaining… who *honestly* doesn’t love Mr. 305?). The best part — people danced! Case closed, in my book. I’ve heard Sunday is Cure’s best night, but you’ll have to see for yourself. Verdict: YAY music, boo expensive, weak drinks(pregame that ish), good location and a crowd that’s not too cool to dance. 4 stars until I start to see otherwise.

I’m giving it one star because I have to although my true feelings are zero stars. Cure can be fun if you’re willing to spend all your money($ 25 cover) and then be targeted to be kicked out. Drinks are rudely overpriced and the staff are pretentious narcissists. I had a private table and was quoted a reasonable package that ended up being twice as much of what was quoted for less than the services promised. On top of that I asked them to adjust the bill for me and instead of returning with an updated bill they signed my check for me… fraud much. This unspeakable service is the norm and they rarely have good music or more importantly, good people. Do yourself a favor and avoid Cure and any other lounge/club owned by the same company.

Never again. This is the worst club in Boston by far and I have been to all the clubs in the city. I’m not even going to delve into the poor music selections… let’s just talk about the awful service. The coat girls lost my coat and blamed it on me having the wrong ticket. How can I have the wrong ticket when that’s the only one that was given to me?! I had to wait until the end of the night for them to sift through the coats and there were at least 10 other people waiting too so that just shows the extent of incompetence. After all that mess, they still didn’t find my coat!!! Please tell me, what’s worse than walking back home without a coat in the middle of a boston winter approx –274853 degrees with wind chill? The manager did call me the next day and said they found it somehow. Nonetheless it was very inconvenient and everyone was rude and not helpful until they directed me to the manager. Never again, cure.

Went to Cure Lounge on Friday to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Music 2 stars: Most important factor of a club is the music! Advertised to play house, dance, top 40’s. It was mostly Techno/electronic for first half. I do enjoy more of the melodic type trance but the DJ(s) played more of the repetitive techno that you can only dance to temporarily. After awhile it gets old… to their credit the music did get better towards 1 am. I think a good DJ can cater to the crowd and improvise his/her playlist. Music is subjective but I like a mix of dance/hip hop and some mix of vocal/melodic trance. Something with a good beat and smooth transitions from song to song. Atmosphere 4 stars: Great décor and really pretty inside. I suppose it’s more of a «lounge» setting so they had the tables set up more in the middle of the dance floor. I think it would be much better use of space if the tables were located on the sides with more room for the dance floor for people to get out and dance. In addition there were a few empty tables just taking up valuable dance floor space. That particular night the club promoter was Asian so the crowd was mostly Asians. Drinks 2 stars: I got a table rsvp with two bottles. Usually most clubs have different prices depending on what type of liquor you get. Ex Absolute Vodka might be $ 300 and Grey Goose $ 350. Not here… regardless of what you get it’s all the same price of $ 350. Drinks at the bar are also pricey. Our club host did give us a free champagne which was appreciated. Also an automatic gratuity of 20% is added. Pros: Nice Décor and a pretty lounge/club Cons: Pricey and didn’t think the bottle service was worth it here. The hostess always holds your bottles and is not allowed to leave them at your table. I’ve never seen this before? Also the mixers were messed up at the beginning ruining our first round of drinks. I think they used the concentrated cranberry juice where you have to add water. The cranberry juice was way too watery and when the hostess poured the first few Cranberry + Vodkas it tasted pretty bad and thrown out. For a markup of 1000% charging a $ 35 bottle of Grey Goose for $ 350 I expect the drinks to be good the first time and every time. If you’re going to get bottle service I think Estate or Royale would be better choices.

One of the worst club I have ever been to. They were outright rude towards women… throwing them out(literally), groping them and misbehaving in utter disrespect. Almost every other women they put their hands on had guys get into fight. Bouncers got in fight too. Damn unsafe place if you are looking for fun. Stay away… women, step in only if you wish to risk yourself.

I wasn’t a fan of Cure. We went on a Friday night because they had no cover until midnight. The line wasn’t too long at 11:45, maybe 20 people, but it was moving very slowly and I was getting worried that we’d have to pay their steep cover. When we finally got to the front of the line, one of the bouncers kept coming over and letting people cut us. It’s great to know someone and I know this happens a lot, but are you seriously not going to alternate between friends of promoters and people waiting in line? We watched as 20+ people got to go in before us. I made a sarcastic comment to the bouncer at the line and he was like well they know the promoter so they get in. We knew a promoter as well… That’s why we came to this stupid club in the first place… «well they aren’t out here to vouch for you». I made a quick phone call and we got in. 11:59. The people behind us had to pay. Unreal. Once inside, I wasn’t too happy with the atmosphere, clientele, or even the music. It was too dark, everyone seemed pretentious, and the music leaned more towards rap. There were some periods of great dance tracks, but overall we found ourselves just sort of waiting for a better song to come on. Even with no cover, I wouldn’t want to go back.

Kind of torn on this one. Sometimes the crowd is good and the DJ plays a little bit of everything, on other nights there is hardly anyone there and the music is meh. I like that it is underground… great for the winter, but maybe not for summer(heat stroke alert!). This definitely feels more classy than Royale or Gypsy in my opinion, but I have to agree with other Unilocalers on the price. I once on a whim decided to go here one night, paid the steep price to get in, only to find out that it was supposedly«latin night» which was not advertised/mentioned upon entry. We walked out of there awkwardly after having one drink since it was a very miniscule crowd and I didn’t want to listen to solely latin music all night. It would be too risky for me to go back there again. I am starting to think that this club is not well known for a reason.
