I went here to exchange for some Dominican Peso for vacation. The whole process was easy and there was a 50% off for processing fee when I checked in. However, they didn’t carry enough of the amount I wished to exchange.

I just exchanged some dollars for Euros for a trip to France in a few weeks at the Copley Place CXI kiosk. The clerk had a very pleasant demeanor which made the whole process (which is a once-​every-​three-​years event to me) feel easy and professional. She suggested that I obtain 50’s instead of 100’s as they would be easier to exchange once I get to France. A very good tip. She explained why they don’t exchange coins (which, because I’m weird, I found interesting.)
The rate they offered was the same as my bank but my bank charged a $ 10 fee. I used my debit card to make the exchange (I had to have the bank increase my daily withdrawal limit — make sure you know what it is.) The take the currency back for no fee either. Not at the same price but they have to make money too. Hopefully the Euro rebounds while I’m there.
I would go back to this kiosk any time I needed currency.

While the advertisement says get your $ in 1 – 2 business days, think of it more like 1 – 2 weeks. I placed an order with them on a Tuesday right after noon, and by next tuesday, one of the currencies I ordered had STILL not arrived. I went on vacation the next day, so I never actually used their services. In general, their rates are no worse or better than other currency converters, but they are at a convenient location. It’s a shame they don’t actually convert your money in a timely fashion.
