Clean. Very clean store. Two stories. I’m pretty sure this is the one inside south station. It’s on the rail side of south station, so if you’re at the bus terminal, you need to walk about a half block over /​up Atlantic to the rail side. Anyway, clean store, nicely organized, pleasant staff, and great location!

Wendy Johnson. Petite, so you might miss her behind the Pharmacy counter but that would be your loss. Wendy is incredibly upbeat without being annoying when you’re feeling really sick. She also has a phenomenal memory and greeted me by name on my second visit. She even remembered it last week despite the fact I hadn’t been in for over a month (oh happy day!). She went out of her way to make sure that my specialty medications were available and gave me excellent counseling when I requested it about a new medication.
Wendy is what makes it a 5 star CVS pharmacy. Now, you’ve got to know it was an extremely good experience if I spent enough time out of my life to write a review for CVS Pharmacist. Really. Get in there.

Pharmacy staff was wonderful, in particular a pharmacist named Wendy Johnson was incredibly warm and receptive to my need to fill a prescription. I’m not from Boston and forgot my medication and she was able to call my insurance and get a refill permission very quickly. I’m a doctor from Chicago and have been to many CVS pharmacies before and this one is quite outstanding.

I’ve never reviewed a drug store /​convenience store before because they’re all incredibly, amazingly uniform… But this CVS stood out.
First, it’s huge. The first floor has snacks, but if you go up to the second floor, you’ll find everything you need.
Second, everyone is so nice and helpful! The second I paused to look around, a woman came to me to ask if I needed help with a big smile on her face. When I said toothpaste, she walked me over to the toothpaste aisle. As I was using the self checkout, I failed to swipe something correctly and immediately someone was by my side to swipe it for me… And then she faded away without making me feel like an idiot. Then as I left, I happened to catch one more employee’s eye who sang out «have a good night!»
Great first impression. I had no idea shopping at CVS could be so pleasant.
