Looking back on my October 6, 2012 wedding, there were so many emotions. There is so much going on during your wedding day and you want things to go as smooth less and as flawless as possible. One thing I did not even have to think about on my day was makeup, because I knew after meeting with and trying out Cynthia – I would look and feel fantastic.
Makeup is something I ADORE. I have a vast collection and didn’t want to trust «just anyone.» I had previously trialed another artist before Cynthia. I wanted to make sure the make-​up stayed put, that I didn’t look like a clown, yet I had «enough» on to make me the best version of myself.
Cynthia came to my home about a month before the wedding, and I knew almost as soon as meeting her, she was the one! She travels with her own director’s chair and a mini-​suitcase full of lashes! She has just about every product they make. She was able to articulate what I should invest in for the big day, just two products – a finishing powder and long wear lip stick – to apply throughout the night. Really, I think I only re-​applied once, as everything STAYED perfectly!
Cynthia was able to make not only my makeup fantastic, but also my mother and my four friends… she moved seamlessly from one to another… making sure to take into consideration their wishes and wants… as well as their styles. For my wedding, I just wanted everyone to feel their best, and Cynthia certainly made this possible. Did I mention she also recommended the hair stylist — - as I had had a really hard time finding someone who was able to make curls stay all day in long hair. She nailed it, knew someone and they rocked it too.
Besides her clear talents as a make-​up artist, she is personable friendly and super easy going! She just gets it! I am trying to figure out when I can use her again?! I mean I must have more events that I need professional makeup done?!

I booked Cynthia for my June 9, 2012 wedding based on a referral from a friend who had just completed her makeup trial. My friend gushed over email about how much I would love Cynthia and that she maintains your natural look, but enhances you to look your very best. Boy was she right! Cynthia came to my family home where the bridal party was getting ready for the day and did my makeup, my mom’s, and four of my bridesmaids. Everyone looks gorgeous! Cynthia uses Mac makeup which photographs beautifully. One of my bridesmaids loved Cynthia so much she booked her for her June 2013 wedding too! Cynthia is so much fun to be around and has the perfect upbeat, cheerful personality that you want to be around on your wedding day. I recommend Cynthia very highly!
