DN Van Lines of Boston

I wish there was a ZERO stars option. Warning!!! D and N van lines is the absolute worst moving company out there. Do not, I repeat DO NOT use this service. They arrived in Orlando on July 6^th after picking up all of my stuff in Boston on June 27^th. They asked for the $ 1800 (price of half the move) before they started unloading our stuff which I did with much hesitation. It took 10 days for the truck to get down to Orlando and when they arrived my COUCH, a large plasma TV, 13 boxes and my wedding dress did not arrive. The people in the main office were extremely rude and even flippant about the missing items. Told me in a very rude way that there was nothing they could not. Literally said he couldn’t just «snap their fingers and fix the problem». Instead, all he suggested was to send an email to management. A large picture was also smashed after being transported in a picture box marked «fragile». 5 linen chairs were damaged and scratched after they were moved across country with NO COVER or wrapping. Only one chair was wrapped and that was the only chair that was in damaged. The other chairs were destroyed after the movers assured me they would be wrapping the remaining white chairs. I have never been more disappointed in a service in my life. Please save yourselves the time, money and frustration. It has been a horrific ordeal dealing with this joke of a company.

DN Van lines came highly recommended by a friend, who used them for 2 moves, so my wife and I decided to give them a try. We had moved in the Boston area one too many times by ourselves, and decided it was time to hire professionals. They were amazing. Fast, very careful, and pleasant. I took off one star solely because it was pretty expensive to move a 1 bedroom apartment without any major living room furniture (we had ordered new furniture to be delivered to the new place directly). Also, they charge an extra percentage to use a credit card.
