This is simply one of the worst retail outlets I have ever encountered. I’ve given this place a few tries & thought it was just fluke. If you entered the door within an hour of closing the glares you get feels like hot pokers on the back of your head. I was there just to grab a few things but that did not matter to the employees behind the counter. One cashier was jamming out to the radio tapped to a pole. The other employee was sitting on a shelf checking her phone. The last time I entered the doors there were four employees behind the register area. As I walked in one of the yelled to another one, BAG!!! I did not think any thing of it until she then screamed at me. Mind you there is no clear sigh that says bags need to be checked in. After you hand your bag to the clerk, they do not give you a tag or anything. I asked the employee not to yell & they proceeded to loudly say how I could not read. An employee named Brian was particularly lacking in any customer service skills, he was standing there complaining about his job, how he needed to move up, how the customers could not read, which I presume he meant me. I paid for my things, while the bag yeller just glared at me. I picked up my bag, making sure everything was still in there & was relieved to leave. Expectations are usually already low at most discount stores, this location takes it to a whole new low. There are just employees standing around doing nothing but yell, stare & criticize the paying customers. Don’t shop here, go across the street to the Rite Aid instead or go any where else instead.

BYFAR some of the rudest people working here. There’s one woman in particular that always has the most disrespectful tone you can imagine, and she’s smug about it. When I first experienced it I ignored it because I thought it may be because she was having a bad day, but her attitude was the same the second time I had to deal with her and the third time as well. I try to shop here ASLITTLE as possible. It’s getting to the point where I may just contact their corporate office about employee rudeness.

I AM a fan, for the exact reasons Katia mentioned. Everything I need for quick work projects, and since it’s close to my job, it’s easier to get to than say, the Family Dollar in Quincy, where I live. It has all of the basics I need at good prices. I buy national brand products there. Are you going to trust their store brand mushroom soup? I think not. What about their meats? I wouldn’t eat meat from the Dollar Store, personally, but I could just be a coward. The convenience, the price, and the location is what makes it rate it 4 stars.

It is what it is. Cheap stuff, some clothes, cleaning supplies, cheap home décor. You’ll probably go if you live nearby and you probably won’t if you don’t. Some stuff is a bargain, some stuff is convenience priced. It’s clean and bright and there you are.
