My agent Steve Mcavenia is so professional, patient and humorous. Every time we made an appointment with him, he would be there much earlier ahead, even if it was a Sunday morning. He would explain everything clearly. He worked very hard on our case and thanks for him we found a sweet new home.

I have had nothing but great experiences, customer service and open communication with my agent. I have really enjoyed my interactions with Steve. He is knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He has been a pleasure to work with. In the last few visits to the office I have met Mike and Matt too. They are kind and friendly! If I ever come back to the area I will use them for my renting and/​or realtor needs. Highly recommend them!

This management is not good for renters. Please do not rent from them. They are likely to be better if you’re buying a property. They have steadily increased rents, but the quality of service has good down significantly. Renters beware.

We cannot say enough about Fenway Properties and Mike Foley. They recently took over management of a condo we own on Peterborough St. Since day one, the property looks better and many improvements have been made. Mike is easy to reach, always returns phone calls & e-​mails, and is a gentleman.
We recently purchased another condo on Queensberry St., and used Mike as our broker. He was attentive to our personal and financial requirements, and found us a great place in a very short amount of time. He went above and beyond for us, both during the process and after closing on it, helping us find a parking space nearby and recommending someone to clean, paint and make repairs to the condo.
We highly recommend Mike and his team for all your real estate needs.

I didn’t wind up renting through this group, but I had a great experience looking at an apartments with them. Steve was really helpful and polite, and showed me some really nice properties. I was very happy to have a good experience with a broker in Boston, considering some of the awful experiences I’ve had with other agencies!

I found Fenway Properties by searching online when preparing my relocation from Europe to Boston. I worked closely with Michael Foley who is very professional, patient and helpful. He spent a lot of time studying my emails and my specific preferences so that he shows me apartments that matched 100% my preferences. During our driving around the city to see apartments, he gave me useful information about Boston which I greatly appreciated given that I didn’t know anything about the city. The most important thing is that he even made time for me to meet me and talk to me before we start seeing apartments in order to understand precisely my needs, lifestyle and priorities. I would highly recommend him and I will definitely work with him if I buy an apartment.

Upon deciding to move to Boston for grad school, I looked at many different apartments with several different realtors, but I have to say my experience with Fenway Properties was the best. Out of all the apartments I viewed, I found that Fenway Properties had the best selection, even though I was looking very last-​minute in the season. I worked with Matt Foley, who was very professional and accommodating. He answered all of my questions and was very helpful– he even offered to hook me up with Bruins tickets! If you are looking for a realtor to set you up with a great place in Boston, Fenway Properties is the way to go.

First off, I should state that I haven’t actually rented from BCP, however, they did assist me in my apartment hunt.
Mike Foley, the agent I worked with, was polite, helpful, and definitely went the extra mile in terms of trying to help me make a selection. At the unit I viewed, he gave me a complete tour of the building, answered all my questions, and seemed to be pretty cool about repeating the same process for my other three roommates on other days (all of this was done after they were closed at 5pm, even!) He was also very prompt at returning e-​mails and phone calls, a rarity for Boston real estate agents.
Although I ended up renting from a different company (the other unit being considered was almost right on campus), Mike Foley and BCP was a great place to start looking.

Today, I received an e-​mail. In an effort to preserve complete transparency, and therefore mediate the subjectivity of my reviews (but, they are ‘real reviews’ aren’t they?) I am going to let everyone know I received an e-​mail from the housing liaison I wrote about.
The agent wrote me a polite, and not at all contentious e-​mail, which I appreciate given my somewhat jagged review of him. I think it takes a little bit of professionalism to take note and contact me like that so I will up the star on this one. Just because of that.
When you work with Boston Choice Properties, you can be the judge. I am sure there were lessons learned all around, folks. Benefit of the doubt, I say!
