True professionals. Food is delicious. Culture is very special. A regular stop when in Boston. Go out of my way to eat here. There is a reason the line is out the door every lunch hour.

It was ehhh just okay. I got a BBQ chicken wrap(special of the day, not the whitey bulger). The chicken wasn’t warm and the cheese didn’t melt. The flavor was alright, but no sauces or anything that made it even remotely amazing or worth $ 9.75. One of the employees was arguing with another employee while I was deciding which sandwich to order. I won’t be back.

Stopped in just as they opened last Wednesday for some breakfast. Everyone working was nice and helpful. I got my food quickly, too. The breakfast burrito I got was filling and delicious.

Really hate to do this. I really do. The customer service here is A1. I’ve been going here off and on for quite sometime but the last couple of times including yesterday have been huge disappointments. I normally order a simple tuna melt in which I pay $ 10 but w/e. So the last time before yesterday I ordered my usual tuna. I waited 15 mins for it and when my order was up the cashier told me to grab a bag of chips. It was on the house. I left out of there thinking wow, they really are nice folks. I get back to the office unwrap my delicious meal to find that it was badly burned. Wow, so instead of remaking the sandwich and giving it to me on the house they gave a me a bag of chips to shut me up. So what happened yesterday is what’s compelling me to write this. I hadn’t eaten anything at all before lunch yesterday and I was starving. I was feeling that tuna again. Figured I’d give em another chance since they never really messed things up prior to the last. Everything worked out well. I enjoyed my lunch. Last night before dinner I started feeling nauseous and it was progressing. Mind you again that tuna was all I had all day. I ended up sleeping beside a bucket that I filled twice. Must have made runs to the toilet about 30 times. Had a headache and heat flashes. I was freezing and my place was set to 80. I’m aware that no place is entirely safe but once you get me sick, never again!

One of my favorite lunch spots. From breakfast to lunch, everything on the menu is fantastic. Some of my favorite items are the Big Steak(cheesesteak, russian dressing, pickles and red onion), Sonny Corelone and the Whitey wrap(Thursdays Only). I have eaten many, many buffalo chicken sandwiched and wraps in my life, but none come close to being as good as the Whitey wrap. The wrap includes hot sauce marinated breaded chicken, cheese, shredded lettuce, bacon and either ranch or blue cheese. Make sure you get here early on Thursdays — the line can get very, very long.

I am from Chicago and I know good food… this place is amazing. If you’re in town, try this place out and get the Sonny Corleone.

Went to Figaro’s last Thursday for the first time for the infamous Whitey Wrap, which is a special on Thursdays. We got there before 12:00 and the line was out the door and down the street. But, we were committed. This is probably the best buffalo chicken wrap I’ve ever had. You can get it with ranch or bleu cheese, but in my opinion, bleu cheese is the only way to go. It’s packed with crispy buffalo chicken, cheese, lettuce and crumbled bacon. Then, the game changer is that its grilled. absolutely phenomenal! I’ll definitely be back for the whitey and to hopefully try some of their other wraps & sandwiches.

Decent location for the Downtown /Leather District crowd. The sandwiches are good, and decently sized. I’m told they have a sandwich called the Whitey Bulger(classy) on Thursdays that is really good. The problem unfortunately is they have difficulty having enough food in stock. I went in the last two days(before 2pm) and they were out of bread. Two consecutive days. Seeing my surprise when informed of this, the woman behind the counter quipped that I should have«come in earlier». I recommend they order more bread. I can’t remember having that problem at Al’s South Street. The food is usually impressive, presuming they have it. Not particularly willing to make the walk — particularly as the weather starts getting colder — in the hopes I’ll be able to order a sandwich, I can’t see a scenario where I’d be returning. [Updated from 2-Starts to 4-Stars, 9/3/15] So I was let in on the secret — place your order in advance, over the phone. The«Whitey Bulger» — though not life-changing as some others might attest — is a very good rollup sandwich. From the sound of it, it is a special that’s available ONLY on Thursdays, and as stated above, they’ll run out of stuff if you don’t plan ahead. It is worth trying. In addition to a solid sandwich, my increasing stars is also largely because of Rosie, who is incredibly friendly, and will take the extra steps to make you feel welcomed and happy with your order. A lot can be forgiven when you’re interacting with genuinely pleasant staff, or in Rosie’s case, owner. They’re still relatively new, and despite a couple workable hiccups, are doing a lot of things really well. Try it out.

Got the sonny corleon and my God is it good. I got it with rice and it came out to $ 10 which is a bit much for the quantity. I wasn’t quite full after the sandwich, but very very content. The sandwich came in a tortilla that was pressed to add a bit of a crunch which added to the enjoyment of the meal. The inside was all melted together with the mozzarella cheese and was just perfect. I would definitely come here again

I’ve had lunch from here a handful of times now since I started working down the street. I’ve had the Mayflower wrap(delicious — they go heavy on the cranberry FYI), the Laguna wrap, and Tuscan Vegetable on ciabatta(kind of greasy with all the cheese but very tasty and it’s nice that they have vegetarian options). All of them were great. I see a lot of salads going out their door, too, but have yet to try one. The place is always busy so I try to sneak in by 11:30 am to avoid the lunch rush. Everyone that works there is really nice — pretty sure they are all family. They prefer that you pay cash so they can donate a portion to charity, but they do accept cards.

The food is good, can’t argue that. I’d almost wish you couldn’t see them making it. My two star rating is because of the poor health/safety guidelines for food prep. Nobody wears gloves! They go from making your sandwich to taking cash and back to making your food. The topper was watching a guy wipe sweat off his head with a towel, place it on the counter and go back to making a sandwich. Enjoy your sandwiches with the extra sweat and bacteria.

Do yourself a favor, and never order the ULTIMATE breakfast sandwich. You will become addicted. This is no joke. Its literally the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had in the greater new England area(PLUS in all of Manhattan) and i am SOTHANKFUL that i don’t work within walking distance of it. I used to, though. This tasty harpy was once just a few blocks outside my daily commute to the office and i feasted on it many times. Not once becoming sick of the golden crispy hashbrown/sausagey interior and toasted bagel goodness. Do you know how hard it is to find a breakfast sandwich place that actually fries their eggs on a griddle instead of a microwave? Its really hard! And yet thats the least interesting thing about this treat. Figaro’s, i love my figure. Yet i love you more. So please, please, please, never franchise. I fear what id become if you multiplied and inched closer to where i am now. Stay away. I simply do not have the will to resist you in closer proximity to me than you are now.

This place is right around the corner from my office and I love coming here when I don’t want to walk too far. It’s packed around lunch time like any other restaurant in the city, but totally worth waiting for. Sonny Corleone(without rice) is my favorite thing to get. It does take a while to make though so do keep that in mind if you order it. The chili here is also very delicious. I think one of their more popular items is the Whitey Wrap(buffalo wings). I still think the Sonny wrap is better. The staff is super welcoming and friendly. They definitely go the extra mile to make sure that your ordering experience there is pleasant.

I love this place for a great Italian sub. It’s a little holes in the wall tucked away near South Station, and is one of the best places in Boston! My favorite is the Al Capone. The staff is very friendly and accommodating to any request.

Deli and breakfast diner. Came here for breakfast because it is located right next to the South Station. The breakfast burrito was alright from a Cali perspective. But the people that work here are super friendly and helpful.

Not a fancy place, by any means, but such an enjoyable experience to eat lunch here in the winter. The family that works here is so friendly, funny, cool, and a pleasure to interact with. They were super excited about their episode debuting on the Food Network Channel’s Chopped, and took a real pride in their business and food. We were given a few freebies with our meal, like delicious cajun chips and home made blueberry muffins. Sandwiches here are big and flavorful, and I enjoyed the generous fillings and crusty bread they came on. The arancini balls were hot and cheesy. Plus, they serve a really tasty brand of iced tea. Although the business itself is simple, they have a view of the beach that was pretty. I imagine this place can get super busy in the summer, but it was a quieter treat on the snowy day we came. I can’t wait to go back! I don’t even know why someone would go to Kelly’s when this place is right around the corner.

Nestled in the crook of the Leather District, Figaro’s is the little secret-but-not-really-secret that I want to keep hidden from the rest of Boston. With an exhaustive and creative menu of sandwiches and wraps, Figaro’s is a place where you will leave happy and full. Go for the classics, like Chicken Parm or Meatball, or don’t — because there’s nothing wrong with a tuna and potato chip sandwich. Does it get busy? Of course it does. Pro tip? Arrive at 11:55am. But don’t wait too late, because they close their doors once their materials run out for the day. They have great breakfasts as well, with a much shorter wait.

The Sonny Corleone… with spicy rice. Simply one of the all time best sandwiches. Try it… you will not be disappointed. Everything else i have tried is excellent. A bonus is the owners are some of the nicest you will meet. You can tell they take pride in their work and it shows in their friendly demeanor and quality food. I love supporting quality businesses such as this. Have a sit down with Sonny!
