Five Clancy Brothers Pest Control

I used Clancy brothers this summer for a bee infestation in my backyard. My parents used them in Hanover also for a much more extreme (almost horror movie like) infestation under their deck in the back yard. My Dad had initially tried to handle this issue on his own … Didn’t work out well !!!
Zac was the employee to came to the rescue on both occasions and got the job done within one visit. Fast, friendly, and professional. You can’t ask for anything more when your dealing with nasty critters !!! Highly recommend them.

Had squirrels and they got the job done, but the service was preformed by a surly kid that totally hated his job. He deserves a –1 star. Had a nasty chip on his shoulder the whole time. People like this need a reality check and need to get out of customer service!.. Should be scrubbing out dumpsters somewhere instead of customer service. Used Green Planet for my next job as I own multis around the city. Nite and Day difference. Did an excellent job and were super friendly!

These people are either scam artists or completely incompetent.
We had a problem with spider bites in our apartment, so the landlord hired them to inspect the house. They came and insisted we had bed begs… even though none of us had bed bug bites, saw any bedbugs, or saw any evidence of bed bugs. They claimed my mattress has blood marks from bites and that they found a bed bug exoskeleton. We trusted the «experts» and let them come in for a fumigation.
When I called for more information about how to prepare for the fumigation, they were very intimidating. Instead of being reassuring, they basically freaked me out and made the process sound like torture: putting all my belongings into sealed plastic bags, taking them out of the house, laundering every scrap of clothing or fabric, throwing out things that can’t be washed… It sounded like a nightmare. And the woman’s tone of voice was just making me feel worse about it.
The day after the fumigation, they apparently called our landlord screaming about payment. There was a misunderstanding between my landlord and Clancy Bro. about when/​how to leave payment, and instead of rationally discussing the situation, they went straight to name-​calling and threatening to sue. Who does that?! Pyschos.
Then I discover that there will be 2 more fumigations, 2 weeks apart, and that we would need to live out of plastic bags for 6 weeks. This was not communicated to my landlord nor to us – and we definitely had not packed our belonging in a way that we could live out of them in the long term!!! This nightmare was just getting worse and worse.
I decided to hire a second opinion. The exterminators I hired came in for an inspection. They found no evidence of bed bugs. At all. They showed me my mattress, which was spotless. They searched the area under and around my bed and found no bug exoskeletons. If there were an infestation, there would have to have been more than just the one that Clancy found. At this point, I honestly suspect they planted it there.
We never had bed bugs, that much is clear. We had to throw out or lose belongings, spend many hours of manual labor preparing for the fumigations, go through the anxiety and embarrassment of getting fumigated, and all that was for NOTHING.
Clancy Brothers put us through hell on purpose so they could milk my landlord for money. Either that, or they are seriously, seriously incompetent and unprofessional. DO NOT TRUST THEM!

Thank goodness for Clancy! At 6am, I saw a pretty good sized mouse go across my kitchen floor. To say I was horrified and terrified would be an understatement!!! They were out by 9am, the tech they sent, Mike was so understanding about my fear, answered all my questions and concerns (approx. a million of each). I told them flat out on the phone that I didn’t want to be dealing with corpses on my kitchen floor in traps or on glue strips. Mike came with the poison traps and put them behind the stove, fridge, in the back of a hall closet by the kitchen, under the sink and behind the stove. He then walked all through my basement and put a bunch more traps around and looked and pointed out a few small holes that they could have come in through. Hopefully they will take the bait — literally — and I will soon be rid of my uninvited guests.
