Came in late at 10:00 pm thinking i’d find mediocre sushi for students. This is top notch ingredients anr highly well crafted rolls, the freshness of it all its outstanding. Friendly staff to boot. My new go to sushi place. So glad to live on the area.

We come here all the time! It’s easy, fast and cheap sushi that always tastes delicious. There are some good hidden finds in the Super 88 food court, but since I tried Geido Sushi it’s hard to go anywhere else. There’s never a long wait and you can get great combos for very reasonable prices– try it!

Sushi here is really pretty good. I’ve ordered pick-up from here a number of times and it’s always been a good experience. Some of the options seem a bit pricy considering where it is, but I’ve never had anything I didn’t like from here. I’ll probably come back before I move in a few months.

Real talk. Straight talk. Rice was too mushy and tasted like that time you got tap water at a restaurant and it tasted weird and musty. $ 13.64 for the combo — spicy salmon, negihama(yellowtail and scallions), tuna. The spicy salmon had a nice sliver of salmon and a lot of some kind of crunchy rice puffs, panko, spicy mayo mix. The spicy mayo mix was what made it tasty. Just go down the street to Sakanya and pick up the good stuff for the same price, if not cheaper.

As you can see from my profile, I don’t Unilocal very much for a number of reasons. But one reason I get annoyed at Unilocal is when people dish out 5-stars so easily. If its 5 stars shouldn’t the place exceed expectations and be a phenomenal restaurant? So for someone who never Unilocal I just have to write about this place… How in the world did all these people give 5 stars to a place that is like a glorified supermarket sushi joint? I would put this on par with like supermarket sushi that you pick up at Whole Foods when getting your groceries. You know what you’re going to get… it’s cheaper than a restaurant and definitely worse quality. That’s what this place is. Supermarket sushi that should be a bit cheaper than it is. I had it last night for the first time out of curiosity and could barely taste the fish. The rice for maki was extremely gummy. I donno if its just because I went later in the evening but the rice was all smashed together like playdoh. Instead of eating at this place… just turn around and look at Phở Viet. $ 4 bahn mi and drizzle some sriracha on that jazz. You’ll be glad you saved money and had a much better meal.

We ordered the sushi combination that comes with 8 pieces of tuna, salmon, yellow tail, and shrimp. The texture was very soft and was pretty fresh regardless that it was almost closing time. The BEST part was when the owner gave us two two pieces of high quality sashimi that had eel sauce, fish eggs, and spicy tuna sauce on it for free!!! Definitely recommend it and will come again:)

I ordered the vegetarian sushi combo yesterday. It was very good, until I reached by 22nd piece of sushi. As gross as this may sound, I found a long strand of hair just casually wrapped around my mango avocado sushi. I literally dumped all that was left in the dustbin, and will probably never go back!

They offer a number of well-priced combos that are perfect if you’re just looking for something simple. It’s nothing fancy, but it’ll hit the spot.

This place is amazing! I lived in Japan for 3 years and have been all around the Boston area at different sushi places. This is one of my favorites. As a simple booth with inexpensive menu items in the Super 88 food court, I didn’t have very high expectations. I ordered the Geido Combo(4 pieces of sushi and a spicy salmon roll) and was immediately impressed by the cut and quality of the fish. The roll had a great balance of fish, cucumber, and tempura flake — which is notably not panko bread crumbs. This isn’t downstream sushi! The staff is also amazingly friendly and clearly wants to make sure you’ve had a good experience. I highly recommend this place!

Very pleasantly surprised! Fish quality was great, cut size was generous, and sauce and texture for rolls were beautifully layered. I’ve never had a sushi experience that good before at a food court.** Sushi’s ordered: Seared salmon belly(under $ 5 for 2 pieces) Salmon Tuna Yellowtail Shrimp(cooked) QQ concept *have never been to Japan *no association with said sushi bar

Super great sushi and nice owner! You can actually design your own sushi, and as long as they have the materials they will make it for you. The sushi are very fresh and the price is cheap. It is so rare to find such a high quality place in super 88 food court. If you are looking for a place with delicious sushi, you should go there!

Great fast, friendly service and delicious sushi. On more than one occasion my coworkers and I have gone together and they will provide a free sample of something unique(and usually amazing) that none of us already ordered. Definitely stop by for a lunch break visit.

Stopped in for lunch while I was out on a walk. Delicious! And they gave me a piece of sashimi wrapped around mango for free. Yum!

This pop-up stall within the 88 Supermarket Food Court pleasantly surprised me, especially with the fact that it currently stands in a real estate spot that has historically flopped with the past shops that have braved and attempted their business here. What you see, is what you get — quick and cheap sushi. However, the quality was much better than I expected — everything was a fresh as it could be, and their spicy salmon roll had crispy rice within, a very fun touch. I wouldn’t recommend this as a date spot, but if I went to BU, I could see myself coming here pretty often, ordering a few rolls, and studying. Looking at their menu, most of their combos are pretty cheap, so this is definitely a prime spot for a poor college student. I hope this place outlasts the other places before it!

I went there last weekend with my classmates. The location was convenient, at 88 food connection. Salmon sashimi is my favorit, amazing and fresh, and everything else was delicious. The service was incredibly fast and good. We will be back for sure.

The competition is fierce in Super 88’s food court. Geido Sushi rests upon the remains of a previous banh mi store that could not compete with phở viet. I came here when it opened and ordered the cleverly named«Super Bowl» since it had 12 pieces of sushi and was basically a Chirashi bowl. The sushi was really great, and they had a 30% discount on the opening day. I will probably come here more often since Fin’s is a little far from Allston. I wonder if they get their fish from Sakanaya?!
