I called Henry in the evening. He was scheduled to come the next day but I had to cancel. I text him two days later and he came the same day. Told me the part would take up to a week. Two days later the part was in. Henry was professional and reliable. He knows his stuff and he is not expensive. I would recommend him to anyone who needs service. A+ Service!

Called Henry for last minute repair of our dryer, scheduled time for the next day. Henry and his associate showed and got the dryer fixed dryer fast! Will definitely call them again!

Henry helped me repair my washing machine and refrigerator water dispenser.
The first trip he made to my house, he was late because parking is difficult in my neighborhood. But called and texted a few times in advance to let me know.
He came over and analyzed the situation, and took a photo of the serial number and model number of my washing machine. He said it would be about a week to get parts in, but he would call me with pricing beforehand.
A few days later, he called to quote me a price and ask if I would like to move forward with him ordering the parts, and I agreed.
A couple of weeks later, he returned to do the needed repair. It took him a couple of hours but he did it. We tested the washer while he was there and everything worked great.
Later, I had another issue with the washer which was not related to the repair he did. When I called him for help, he gave me a few suggestions about what to do to fix the issue. I did what he suggested and didn’t need to have him come back.
A couple of months after that, I had him come over to look at my refrigerator, which he fixed the same day! He had to run to the store to get parts, but he returned and charged a very reasonable price for the 3 hours it took him to get the water dispenser working again.
I would definitely recommend H&F to anyone I know for appliance repair.

After a few days of thinking that I could fix it, we were desperate to get our dryer going again. I called a couple of places who couldn’t help us, then called Henry. He came to our place the next day, diagnosed the problem in five minutes (It was much more than I ever could have fixed). He had to go get a part, but was able to fix the problem in a couple of hours. Very competent and personable guy…

Our refrigerator and freezer stopped cooling on a Friday evening. Searched Unilocal and found H&F. Called as soon as he opened on Saturday morning and Henry was at our place in a couple of hours. Kept us updated by text message. Diagnosed the problem and had things working again in short order. Prompt, Polite, Friendly and reasonably priced. I have is card on the fridge and will be calling again if we need an appliance repaired.

Henry said he could come between 9 and 11am to fix my gas oven. At 11:15, he still hadn’t shown up; neither had he called to tell me he would be late. When he did show up, diagnosed the problem and fixed it quickly, which I appreciated. He did not, however, clean up after himself. He left a broken part on my counter and dirt on my floor. I also had to ask him to give me a receipt.

Paul came out on friday and found the problem came back on Monday with the parts seems to e working fine now. Very happy with the service I received. Would use again.

As mentioned in other reviews, Henry is lightning fast, has a top-​notch work ethic and his prices are fantastic. GE wanted me to wait weeks for a repair, Henry came out in less than 24 hours on a weekend and had fixed my fridge in less than an hour after looking at it, saving me a LOT of money that would have gone to a new appliance. I will recommend him to everyone in my condo and I now have him in my phone for all repairs!

Henry is amazing! Our Bosch washing machine has water filling problem. Initially we called Yale appliance to take a look as we bought most of our appliance there. Probably because our stacked washer and dryer stuck in the closet, their guy came and did nothing but said we should diagnosis the problem ourselves and either call them up if it is the inlet valves problem, or call in a plumber. We tried to pull the machine out of the closet, but broke the connecting part and made a mess. We are frustrated and luckily we found Henry through Unilocal.We called him up on Sunday and he came in on Monday morning. He not only diagnosed the problem, fixed it with the part that he prepared in advance, even DIY a new plastic connector between the washer and dryer, help us take out some part of the door frame of the closet so that the machine will not be stuck during moving in and out, and he also help to fix our AC unit, which problem we just found out that Monday morning! All finished in one morning!!! Five stars on Unilocal is not enough!

Henry saved the day for us — our washer machine kept overflowing so we couldn’t use it and he came over the next day (I called on a Sunday night, he came Monday) and fixed the problem in less than an hour. I would recommend him to anyone looking for help with a broken washer machine.

Henry arrived at my apartment 30 minutes after I called him about my washing machine. Responsible, efficient, same day repair, and very reasonable rates. I cannot recommend H&F enough. Henry was a pleasure to work with and I will certainly use him again if the need arises.

Called about my dryer which wasn’t producing any heat. Based on the positive reviews I figured I’d try them out. Called while I was at work and Henry arranged to meet me at my house after I got home. He was prompt and extremely pleasant. He diagnosed the problem within minutes and quoted me an incredibly fair price. He was in and out in about 30 minutes. What a nice guy. I will not hesitate to call him again if I ever need to.

Instant response, same day appointment. Identified the problem over the phone, brought the repair parts, was in and out in 20 minutes. Professional, fast, friendly, cleaned up nicely (my oven was a bit of a mess.)

Henry seems like a very nice guy. I called him to fix the washer in February. Now it’s the end of March and my washer is still broken. He has make 2 visits to check out the problems with the washer and see what parts were necessary for repair. After the first visit, he completely forgot to order the parts, which he said would take at least a week or two to order. Not only did he forgot to order the parts, he forgot what parts he needed to order, and he forgot about the repair completely. So he came again for the second visit, he said he would order the parts and would be back for the repair. A week later I have tried to contact him several times and NO RESPONSE! Don’t be fooled by the other reviews. This is my honest experience with Henry’s service and it’s terrible!

Henry was pleasant, diagnosed the problem with my fridge quickly and fixed it right away. Doesn’t get better than this!

I called Henry after receiving a ridiculous quote from another vendor. Not only were his prices better, but he was able to come out the same day — two days before Christmas no less. He was quick in diagnosing the issue, repairing it, and gone within half an hour. I would most certainly call him for any appliance issues in the future!

Henry does great work and is a pleasure to deal with. He fixed my 4 year old front loading washer and saved me from buying a new one. His prices are very fair.
Henry is text savvy and I was able to text him pictures of my washer so that he could arrive [on time!] at my house with the correct part in hand.

After a not-​so-​great experience with another appliance repair company, I found Henry and his service company right around the corner from my house. This is the best find I’ve made all year. I called at 2:00 on a Friday, with no expectation that I would get the problem (a CO leak that had summoned the fire department and banished my wife and 12-​day-​old daughter to the back porch) fixed before the weekend. H&F was here within three hours, and Henry spent an hour wrestling with our precariously-​balanced drier before declaring he needed to buy a replacement part. He and an associate were back the next day (Saturday, if you’re keeping track) to finish the repair.
Despite the huge time investment and the supplemental trip to Home Depot, H&F still charged us less than half of what the other-​service-​company-​that-​shall-​not-​be-​named charged us for the visit last year that caused the leak in the first place. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough.
