BEWARE!!! Regus has hidden fees that are never mentioned when you sign the rental agreement… even if you ask point blank — «Are there any fees I will be charged which you have not told me about?» The answer will be «No». Then you see a charge for «kitchen fee» at $ 30 a month, even if you never use the kitchen or drink a cup of coffee. I arranged for my own phone service so as not to be charged Regus’s high monthly telecom fee. But then my invoices included a charge for each call I made regardless. (After a couple of months, the office manager was able to correct the problem… which never should have occurred in the first place.) I have used the office less than 15 times in the past year because the walls are so thin, I cannot conduct my business. When I speak with business associates, they can actually hear the person sitting on the other side of the wall over the phone. Now as I reach the last month of my one-​year rental agreement, I am being charged a $ 250 exit fee. The company personnel operate by the book, very corporate. I don’t fault them for that, but I do find fault with deceiving the customer.

I really want to like this company, they have a great idea. Unfortunately, you constantly have to check your bills to make sure they are accurate. It is a great solution for a business looking to not get locked in, but if you plan on growing quickly, don’t bother coming here. Meh. I’ve experience better is right.

I love that this is kind of a hidden gem. It’s listed as one of the points of interest in a Waterfront tourist map, so when we walked by it, I figured we might as well check it out. It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon (funny how 50 degrees with sun constitutes a «beautiful» day in Boston) and there were plenty of tourists parading around, but I supposed the locked doors to the building deterred them from getting up to the 14^th floor observation deck. Not me though! The sign said it was open to the public from 10a — 5p, so I tried a bunch of different doors — all were locked, so I pushed the intercom button and the security guy buzzed me in (he was watching me try all the doors the whole time). I told him we wanted to go to the 14^th floor observation deck, and he just replied «ID?» After recording some information off our IDs, he led us to the elevator and used a key to let us up to the 14^th floor.
The observation deck itself is quite unimpressive, but the view was nice. It’s either very well-​kept, or there just aren’t that many people that come by here. The deck features a single bench and some binoculars (no quarters needed!). There is even a tiny observation room if it gets too cold or windy up there.
Overall, nice pit stop if you’re in the area.
