Food is good, but not extraordinary. 5 stars for amazing service.

This place is very close to authentic Indian food. The kababs and curry are really good. Meat is tender and nan is tasty. I have ordered a few times from this place. Consistent taste and quality with punctual delivery. Dont bother about trying the biryani though.

Tried their food for the first time today. Had an assortment of curries, rice, and garlic naan. The rice seemed a bit dry, but it worked well with the curries. The naan was great(though slightly burnt). The food was a little on the salty side, but I liked it overall!

Went to use the restroom, saw their kitchen, it looked really dirty and not up to health code, I had a fish plate, had a really bad stomach ache the night and the next day.

This used to be one of the best indian restaurants in Boston, but I hadn’t been there in years. Ordered takeout today and so disappointing — bland and underseasoned. Won’t be back

Came here with people from out of town since we couldn’t get a table at Island Creek. Initially disappointed but man did this place make up for it! The food was nothing short of amazing. The best Indian in Boston for a reason! The chicken tikka masala was the favorite of the table. For me, the fish curry was amazing but beware that their spicy means spicy, I was the only one who could get past the spice on this dish. Great service, food, wine, and great price.

I’m reviewing India Quality again because I recently ordered delivery and had a very different experience. Grubhub estimated just over an hour for the delivery but they were actually early. Seems they have worked out the bugs in their online delivery system now.

It was a frigid night and I needed some hot curry! I knew India Quality was owned by the same folks as Punjab Palace, where my favorite chicken tikka masala and onion chutney are made… so I know I was not going to be disappointed. The food came hot and it was just the right amount of hot for me(temperature and spiciness – I ordered medium spicy). The garlic naan was delightful – lots of garlic flavor and just the right enough char from the tandoor oven. I could eat their onion chutney and rice for days. IQ and PP are my go-to whenever I expect to work late nights and need some comforting Punjabi food!

Holy. Jesus. This place is fantastic. Not only is the food super killer, but when the server noticed we were ordering all vegan food, he warned us that naan bread has dairy. Which explains why I get sick after ever order of naan ever. If you want your food spicy and even though you’re white but don’t eat like a white person… make sure you specify that you don’t have a mouth of a toddler and they’ll hit the spice perfectly. Eat. Everything. Now.

We went for dinner — here is a quick bullet list describing our experience: *Excellent service *Cheap, giant bottles of Kingfisher beer — decent wine selection w/great prices *Extremely flavorful & spicy(we asked for it hot) Tikki Masala *We also go the Tandoori mixed grill — the lamb was tender & flavorful, chicken/beef was killer *We loved that they put the 3 sauces(onion chutney, tamarind & mint) on the table for us to serve ourselves & started us out with a complimentary papadum plate. *Our meals came with complimentary naan & basmati rice which not every place does *We ordered garlic naan because its our favorite, but they had a tons of naan options that I’d never seen before(blueberry, coconut & honey, and other crazy options) *We completely over-ordered, so we had tons of food to take home — they packed it up very nicely, put it in a bag with handles & even packed up extra onion chutney without us asking– which was much appreciated. This is now our favorite Indian place in Boston & is on par with some of the great places in Cambridge — def recommended.

Overall rating 3⁄5 Service 5⁄5 Ambience 2⁄5 The lids of chutney containers on table were not so clean. The room was smokey, I think their kitchen doesn’t have proper ventilation. Restrooms were not so clean. Food 3⁄5 We ordered mixed platter, tandoori chicken, Navratan Korma, garlic naan, paneer saag and kulfi. Portions were decent. Rice was undercooked, mixed platter tasted as if they refried pakodas from lunch though being an Indian I can say making pakodas fresh is pretty easy and I won’t pay around $ 8.5 for this ever again. That was a mistake. Also, I don’t like the fact that they charge $ 2.5 for side of pickles and give you a tiny amount of it. Rip off! In most of the Indian restaurants they are free. Also, Kulfi had ice crystals in it, it should be creamy and free of ice crystals. Paneer saag was ok. I didn’t taste tandoori chicken. I liked their Navratan Korma and garlic naan a lot. Must try! They offer complimentary papads as appetizers which is nice. Value for money 3.5÷5

yumm this is my go-to Indian place in Boston for eat-in or delivery. Chicken Tikka Masala and Saag Paneer, while a bit adventure-less, are delicious and hit the spot. Chicken Korma and Daal are equally good. We had one meh experience with the Mango Chicken once and the garlic naan is reeeeally garlicky, even for a garlic lover like me, but nearly everything else I’ve ordered has been delicious.

I’ve enjoyed takeout from India Quality for years and this Thanksgiving, they were open for business so we ordered Saag Paneer, Chicken Tikka Masala, Tandoori Chicken, and Lamb Rogan Josh. All of it was available in 20 minutes, and while admittedly not a connoisseur, I enjoyed everything in the order. I’ve never eaten in the restaurant so I can’t comment on the quality of service or the décor, but I’m told that this is the place BU and Northeastern college students bring their parents to when they’re visiting and want Indian food. That’s a good enough endorsement for me!

I’m not sure why it’s taken me so long to review India Quality. This has been my go-to for Indian delivery for years. I’ve never actually eaten at the location, but they offer delicious fast delivery and I’ve never been disappointed. I usually order chicken tikka masala, baingan bharta(eggplant), and papadums. I also like the Peas Pullao as an alternative to the plain rice. The chicken is always delicious cubes of all white meat perfectly cooked chicken. And the sauces are always rich and flavorful. I love that you can pick your levels of spiciness, and everything always mixes so well together. It also makes for great leftovers!

Authentic Indian food in boston. Both the chicken tikka masala and lamb curry were delicious and with a kick. The naan is fluffy, and the portions were fair. If you’re looking for something different with some spice, India Quality is worth a try

India Quality is a treasure that is tucked in the bottom of one of Comm Ave’s many brownstones. Despite its small and modest exterior, the inside of restaurant is nicely decorated, clean and spacious. Moreover, the waitstaff are very friendly, and provide quick service. My boyfriend and I ordered two Strongbow Cidars, the Mixed Platter, Pashwari Naan and the Keema Saag(a daily special) to share. I don’t know what it is about Indian restaurants, but i’m always unbelievably full by the end of the meal. This place was no different — even though we only ordered one entrée between the two of us, I couldn’t have eaten another bite! The highlight of the meal was definitely the Pashwari Naan — it had a wonderfully sweet flavour, and with 4 sizable pieces, it was perfect to share between two people! Although I preferred eating it plain, it also tasted really good with a spicy curry. Second best was the Keema Saag, which is my «go-to» at Indian restaurants. We chose a medium spice level, but I think next time I will test my limits with a higher spice level. I like ordering sample platters as appetizers, because they allow you to try a little bit of everything. On the other hand, it’s rare for me to enjoy each item equally. In the Mixed Platter, the Chicken Tikki and the Chicken Pakora were my least favourite because I found them a bit dry. However, the Vegetable Pakora, Samosa, and Saag Tikki were fabulous — each was fresh, and had a very unique and vibrant flavour. Overall, I would say that India Quality made me some of the best Indian food i’ve ever had!

Came here for dinner last night and was so happy to find good North Indian food! This is perhaps my new favorite Indian restaurant in Boston? At least a good substitute for when I’m away from home! We had the bhel, saag paneer, aloo gobi, and garlic naan. Usually I’m hesitant to order bhel at a restaurant — it takes pretty much zero effort to make — but I hadn’t had it in forever. It was good! Clearly fresh — the rice was still crispy. The paneer and aloo gobi were also really good — the spinach had the right flavor mix and wasn’t overcooked — and same with the gobi. Note: their food is actually spicy! Service was pretty terrible — hence the 4 stars.

This is some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had. Why, India Quality, WHY must you be all the way on the East Coast? Customer service here was amazing. My sister joked that our water glasses never went lower than half an inch from the top of the glass before a waiter was swooping in to refill it. A part of me wonders if the staff is extra conscious that some Westerners may not be used to how spicy some of the food is? In any case, as someone who falls into this category, I was grateful and gulped my water down as quickly as it was refilled. We got: Saag paneer(5⁄5): This was a dish that I wished our group had doubled up on. It’s hard to go wrong with this dish, but India Quality manages to get it very, very right. The spinach isn’t overly oily, and the best part of the dish is always the paneer, a soft, mild Indian cheese. Chicken korma(5⁄5): After the saag paneer, this was my favorite. Tender chunks of chicken are bathed in a slightly sweet curry sauce that begs to be soaked up with naan and rice. I unashamedly used naan to get at the very last dregs in the bowl, even after the meal was over and and we were all stuffed. It’s just THAT good. Malai kofta(4.5÷5): This tasted like a vegetarian version of the chicken korma. Both dishes have a wonderfully creamy sauce, although this one was sweeter than the chicken korma. I slightly prefer the chicken korma but would readily order both again. I like how both dishes have cashews that add a nice nuttiness to the flavor. Lamb vindaloo(3.5÷5): This was good, but way too spicy for me to take more than a couple bites … And this was after we asked for a mild spiciness! I can only imagine how spicy the full-blown version of this would be! Chicken tikka masala(3.5÷5): Even when we asked for a medium-level of spiciness, it was a little too spicy for my taste and some of the chicken was kind of dry. My sister told me this dish is the«orange chicken» of Chinese food(meaning heavily Americanized). I liked nearly everything, but I’d probably pass on this next time. We also got an order of garlic naan and paneer naan. I expected the latter to have more of a cheesy taste(kind of like cheesy bread), but I couldn’t taste the paneer at all. I’ve had better garlic naan, but no matter; naan is more of a vehicle for scooping up all the yummy, saucy main dish entrees, and each dish came with more than enough basmati rice. Thanks for such a great experience, India Quality! I’ll be back for sure the next time I’m in Boston.
