I was referred to Dr. Iwamoto from my optometrist for a minor procedure. When I went in the first time, I received a very thorough exam(mostly answering questions) from two students doing their clinical rotations. The ladies were awesome; I wish I would have jotted down their names. I was placed in a room to see the doctor about my specific problem, related to an eyelid. She was a little standoffish for me. I’m used to asking a lot of questions, and getting more than a yes or no answer. Anything having to do with my eyes gets me anxious. Sometimes, she gave me the impression that she thought my questions were stupid and that I was foolish for wondering. She scheduled me for another date for an outpatient procedure. When I left, I realized I didn’t know exactly what she is going to be doing in a couple of weeks.
