I was nearby and I popped in to see if they could take a walk-​in. Jordan cut my hair exactly as I asked and quite quickly & neatly. He does a wash before & after, too. He’s attentive, a good conversationalist and a true Bostonian. I’ll be back!

Used a Groupon for a cut with Roya and it was GREAT. I have long, straight, medium thickness hair and she layered and angled the cut perfectly.

Jordan and Co recently gained a great addition to their salon; Roya. I have been going to Roya for many years and am a very loyal customer. No one can get my eyebrows right, but her! I go to her for threading, and she is always gentle and very attentive. She prides herself on cleanliness– which for me is very important. I like that she knows what looks good with the shape of my face and what doesn’t. My husband also has been to Roya for haircuts, and he comes out looking sharp every time!

DECOR: The salon itself was not unique in appearance,
STAFF: They were not overly friendly or social, but I was greeted.
Yet, their greeting made me feel as if I was interrupting them.
So, as for dated décor and already occupied staff,
they did not immediately prompt me to come back again.

I have seen Greg for 3 things in the last 2 weeks — Keratin, hair cut and color. I have been seeing the same hairstylist in Boston for 4 years and unfortunately she moved… It was getting to be summer time, so I wanted to get Keratin and found Greg here on Unilocal.He offered a $ 99 keratin deal and in 2 hours I had beautiful new highlights (I have received many compliments) and smooth, soft hair. Greg is a cool guy and makes the hours fly by. I even went back a week later to get my hair cut and had the same amazing experience. He is so reasonable with his prices. Greg rents space at Jordan and Co so works independently of the Salon. However, the Salon itself is also great — the woman who works at the front desk is so sweet and the rest of the stylists are really friendly.
I told Greg he now has exclusive rights to my hair! I have recommended him to several friends and I know they will all have similarly positive experiences!
Just remember– don’t buy the Unilocal coupon, it is not for Greg — just ask for him at the salon and you won’t be disappointed!

I had a horrible experience at Jordan & Company. The hairstylest Catherine was wonderful and gave me a great color and cut. She took off exactly the amount I told her to and gave me a great blow dry for a wedding. The receptionist was horrible though. I made another appointment and called to reschedule for a date earlier in the month and she was very sarcastic. I then called again a couple weeks later to let her know that I would just be getting a cut since I colored my own hair and liked it. She said quote, «What do we want to do now, move it up to this weekend,» before I could even tell her that I was just trying to change my appointment from a color and cut to just a cut. Then once I told her I colored my own hair she said sarcastically, «OHHHHHHH». She then told the hair stylest and repeated what she said to me and that was another, «OHHHHHH». Then I told her actually I really like the way my color came out and she repeated to the hair stylest with an attitude, «Actually she really liked the way it came out». After having this sarcastic hairstylest rub me the wrong way twice, I discontinued my business with them.

Got A keratin done a few days ago here and I am LOVING the results. I got it done with Greg, he was funny and easy going but was meticulous in applying the keratin product and making sure every strand of my hair was razor straight before I left so that the product worked to its full potential. This was my first trip to this salon but I will definitely be going back for another keratin

I just had my hair done with Greg this afternoon and I have to say I am extremely happy with my hair color and I am ecstatic over the price– Greg has great deals! I came in asking for a partial foil since the one I had done less than a month ago failed to cover up my roots sufficiently. Greg explained to me that since my base color was different than my roots (it was left over from do-​it-​myself hair dye from the winter), highlights alone were not going to fix the problem. So he applied a color to the roots to make it match and then put highlights on top. He did this quite quickly (lucky for me since I had snuck out on my lunch break!). He was also very friendly but not annoyingly over the top like some hair stylists can be. I will definitely be coming back for a hair cut and Keratin treatment soon. My co-​workers also said that my hair looks great! Definitely do not listen to South B.‘s review. Since she doesn’t have a hair license I’m pretty sure she’s the one who doesn’t have a clue about hair color.

Greg is THE MAN. I have gone to Greg since my first year in college and over these past five years this guy has repaired a number of seeeerious indecent hair choices I have made on my own. He fixed my blue/​green hair as well as transformed my hair from the blackest black to a really decent, smokin hot blonde all with amazing cuts and reasonable prices. Greg does not judge and Greg does not disappoint. I strongly recommend him to everyone!

Be careful with Greg. He doesn’t have a clue about hair color. I wouldn’t be surprised if he actually doesn’t have a hair dressers license. I had to go to another spa the very next day and spent over 200 bucks to get it fixed. Next time I will steer clear of this salons «deals” – it’s worth it to pay more and have it done correctly somewhere else.
I find it hard to believe the reviews on the side column are legit. The owners probably wrote them. (or the stylists!)

Greg did a great job cutting my hair and the cost was only $ 30 total, including tip! He runs great deals, so if you contact the salon and ask for him, you can ask what specials he is running.
I give Greg 5 stars. He is knowledgeable and professional. He does a great job without any rush. He is well-​trained and works with you to make sure you’re happy. There is no pressure to do anything crazy or out of your comfort zone.
The only reason I’m not giving my experience 5 stars is that Amex is not accepted, so make sure you bring cash or have a VISA/​Mastercard to work with Greg.

The first thing I always notice is how I am greeted or not when I walk into any Salon, Spa, Restaurant. This place is great. I felt like I just went to friends secret spa and there was hot cocoa waiting, fuzzy slippers, and a nice comfy chair while waiting. The karma is good here :) Nice friendly staff, the stylist are all excellent and it is a full service salon. that provides excellent service in a clean hip atmosphere that is very affordable. Greg Byrne who I see is awesome :) So I got an awesome wash, cut and blow dry for ONLY $ 30.00 bucks my color and trust me (needed some tlc and fixing) was $ 50. Make sure to book with Greg and always ask what the special is because he runs them. No need to skip the highlights :) Thanks G for the fab cut & color. I will post some new pictures of my haircut & style. Lady D :) and the rest of the staff thank you :) PS there is metered parking and by mbta it is between state street and aquarium.
